Romatic at Heart
We have here another Canadian movie. What do you do when three hookers decide to straighten up and try to snag a rich husband, New Yorks Finest. One of the better comedy romances of the canadian era this was made in. It is cheesy, but is worth it. It makes up in plot, comedy and romance. Got to see! excellent movie!!!!!!!
this is an Excellent movie,,, lots of great scenes, and LOTS of really great nudity. If you are looking for a Trashy movie with lots of gratuitous nudity, THIS IS IT!!!!

THIS FILM IS TRYING...LORD IS IT EVER TRYING
This film does have a plot, the trouble is, so much else about the film fails that its not worth watching.

The main plot is how a warrior queen (Sybil Danning) comes to Pompeii to free some slaves and is courted by the governor (Donald Pleasance). Other sub-plots involve what happens to those slaves. In the end the volcano erupts and buries everyone, taking them out of our misery. There is a slave auction where nude men and women are suspended by either their wrists or ankes, a gladiator combat that seems to avoid any real thrills, and the most fake looking head-on-a-stake in movie history. The most successful scene is where Pleasance attempts to entertain Danning at a court feast, but only succeeds in boring her. We actually feel the boredom deep in the pits of our soul.

For fans of Roman movies, this is only for the most desparate completist suffering from insomnia. For a movie with strong, scantily clad warrior women, gladiator combat, and swordfights, try something like the simillarly titled "Barbarian Queen" with Lana Clarkson.

One of the Worst Movies of All Time.
This movie is about the worst! It is just terrible. The box features the Tantalizing picture of Former Playboy Cover Girl SYBIL DANNING as the warrior queen who is going to save innocent slaves from Roman oppression. Sybil is hardly seen in the movie and has very little dialogue. The scenes of destruction are all taken from an earlier movie. The acting is terrible and the plot is nonexistant.

Just an awful movie all the way around. Not recommended for anyone.

so bad its good but still bad!
This is one of those overblown cheesy direct to video movies that tries to take itself so seriously and goes over the top. Linda blair is the best actress in the movie and shes only in it for about 20 minutes!
its about a husband and wife who run into a famous paintist(ruth raymond who claims that he is her long lost son. well this bad mother wont take no for an answer as she kidnaps him and ah, well i wont say what happens. the ending is unbelievable. actually the last hour of the film is unbelievable. its so bad its good but its still bad. (that maid was a pretty bad actress).
but for your money's worth you get a catfight between ruth in a wedding dress and her son's adoptive mother. not once, but about three times! ater its over youll shake your head but youll get a few good laughs at least. well i did anyway. ... Read more

A Matter Of Sex.
"A Matter Of Love" only contains five actors. Mrs. Mays is the friendly yet ditzy owner of an oceanfront timeshare. She accidentally schedules two different couples to occupy the place during the same week. After some initial confusion, the two couples decide to share the place.

One of the couples is happily married and they have very liberal views on having as much fun as possible. The other couple's marriage is in trouble. The wife isn't feeling loved by her overbearing hubby anymore.

The movie provides an occasional interesting glimpse into the reasons why people sometimes lose the spark in their marriage. Of course, being a Chuck Vincent film, the focus is more on nudity and a swinging lifestyle rather than any deep introspective look at relationships. Mildly entertaining. ... Read more
