Cinemax late-night movie
This is a "Cinemax type" of cable-tv-movie (late night on the weekend). It's a softcore skinflick. The Robin Hood premise is just an excuse to start each new scene and then get the girls naked, and it does have lots of naked girls throughout the entire movie. The naked girls are the same girls that I've seen in other "Surrender Cinema" movies that are shown on Cinemax" (for example....the same as The Erotic Time Machine movie by Surrender Cinema). If you wait a couple of years, this movie will probably be on late night cable tv (such as Cinemax). Is this movie for you? Nil Science Fiction, Strong Sexual Content
Because this video in unrated and carries no warning in the information area I feel shoppers should be aware that this by all rights a soft core porn film with strong sexual content and little science fiction. I bought the VHS version from another source expecting the sort of movie "Roger Corman Presents" might sponsor, something along the lines of "Species" or Amanda & the Alien. While more in the vein of the latter the sci-fi part, {or any other technology for that matter}, is limited to a few teleportations via telekinesis and some aura/emotion melding. The movie is probably 60% by time made of sexual contact. Technically the movie is suprisingly well made for the genera. It is shot on film {not video tape}. The scenery is professionally done and the acting level reaches that of daytime soap operas. The sound quality is not bad. So the technical qualities are there to be transfered to DVD, just beware of the content.

Venesa Taylor makes Femalien the best movie of its kind
I have to say I really enjoyed Femalien. Yes, it's undeniably soft-core porn, but it is absolutely the best movie of this type I have ever seen. The plot isn't anything to brag about, but it does make some sense and holds together quite nicely. Femalien is an alien 'collector' sent to earth to study human intimacy. Her people have evolved beyond physical bodies to become energy beings, and intimacy has been lost in the process. Femalien is given a 'suitable' form (I'll say) that will allow her to pass herself off as a human being and learn all about interpersonal relations by observing humans interacting with one another. She doesn't have to look very far to find subjects for study, and she is a quick learner, engaging in her own interaction experiments before very long.

This whole movie just exudes professionalism, from the acting to the camera work to whatever else directors do that makes a film a real treat to watch. You won't find this many attractive women in most films of this type, either. Venesa Taylor in particular is a living doll; hers is a classic beauty that is quite rare these days. She is just completely captivating. She has talent, too, and her naïve, innocent manner of speech and appearance just suits her role in this movie to a tee. The sex scenes, even the ones that don't include Venesa Taylor, are also as good as you will find in movies of this genre. Basically, Femalien has it all. Forget about all the disappointments you may have felt when watching other supposedly good movies of this type; Femalien is sure to please. As long as you are aware of this movie's exceedingly erotic nature and don't approach it expecting a thrilling science fiction adventure, there is simply no way you can be disappointed.

Aliens Study the Sensual Arts
I was in the mood for some alien invasion movies the other day and watched a small marathon. As well as such movies as The Arrival, I watched a film called Femalien. Femalien reminds me of a modern remake of The Girl From Starship Venus.

Femalien is the story of an alien landing on Earth to study human interactions. The energy being is given the form of a young woman. What follows are scenes of her spying on couples and her interactions with others. The alien is collecting and cataloging experiences for her race who have risen above physicality but still miss it. During her adventures she tries to help a local woman retain ownership of her diner.

While the plot is weak I do recommend this film for those times when a movie like Invasion of the Star Creatures or Galaxina is the sort of thing you are looking for.

Excellent actresses; stupid "plot"
This movie uses science fiction as a flimsy excuse to accomplish a few plot objectives, like transporting back to her bedroom instead of seducing, etc. And the plot itself gets so ridiculous that you really wouldn't want to stick around for the ending...
But, I'll bet you will. I did, and I'm glad I did. If you liked the first love scene in "Mulholland Drive", you will love this movie. Mostly for the ending scene, but there's a little more to it.
Somehow these actors make you forget the ridiculous setups for the sex scenes. It's almost tastefully done. Unlike in hardcore, these people actually look like real people (although much more attractive) when making love. And in spite of the script, they manage to create a little bit of sexual tension.
But that's if your trying to follow the "story". If you just like to see some really beautiful women (and/or men) getting naked, I can highly recommend this on that subject. As many reviewers have stated, the lead is ravishing. She a little believeable in the role, but who cares: she's super hot! And the others are very nice too-- not a dud in the bunch.
So, even though this is another smoothjazz softcore movie, it's not typical. It's very beautiful, and very dumb. In other words, any Heather Graham fans will get it.

Simply the Best, in my humble opinion... :o)
As an adult female that never ever considered purchasing a movie of this sort before, I must say that I really enjoyed it (I'm glad that I did).
My goodness, the female lead is beyond words.
Not that I've ever thought of another female in that way before (I might just change my mind).
So far, I've purchased and viewed 2 other Surrender Cinema movies, they were great, as well.
But, I must say 1 particular scene in this movie made me a convert, it did.
All in all, I'm really glad that I purchased it.

Passable
If you like softcore this is not bad. Unfortunately, there is too little of Jacqueline Lovell, who is the only real standout in the whole video. If you are bored by most softcore, this one will not do anything for you.

Another one of the early Surrender Cinema must have videos.
Lolida 2000 ranks up there with Virtual Encounters 1, Virtual Encounters 2, and Femalien as one of the "must have" softcore videos that they released in the last half of the 1990's.

This is what softcore is supposed to be. The women are beautiful, the [physical] scenes are plentiful, and the action stops just short of actual hardcore. My favorites scenes were the prison cell lesbians and the totally gratuitous encounter between the 1950's lovers in the diner.

This is an easy recommendation.

Now if only someone would do DVD releases of Surrender's two other A-list titles ("Exotic House of Wax" and "Hotel Exotica") all would be right in the world.

T&A which by me is okay!
Awful everything, but the girls are hot (especially the blonde that always gets tied up... and gets all hot bothered when she's with some guy who's also in the movie and she takes it out in him in a rather satisfying way) and the scenes are energetic and tops for the softcore genre.
If you're watching this for other than a cheap thrill, you might as well look somewhere else. This movie has only one thing to offer, big-breasted bimbo's itching to have their shirts and other clothing items torn off.

Erotic science fiction at its best
In this erotic science fiction film from the folks at Surrender Cinema, fan favorite Jacqueline Lovell plays Lolida, a former employee of an organization dedicated to finding and destroying anything possessing the least bit of sexual content. Now, she is on the run from her former employers, carrying with her a number of video "stories" that touched her (and caused her to touch herself) and made her realize that the very knowledge she was destroying should actually be spread far and wide. To that effect, she produces three of these stories for the benefit of whoever may be receiving her transmission. The three individual stories are quite strange, involving alien abduction, a female pilot's imprisonment on a distant planet, and a man caught in a "time slip." Featuring a significant number of impressive softcore scenes, these three stories manage to be interesting as well as provocative. It is unfortunate that Jacqueline Lovell serves as little more than lovely narrator herein, but some scintillating performances from the likes of Gabriella Hall do much to assuage one's disappointment. Lolida 2000 is yet further proof that Surrender Cinema makes the best erotic movies in the business.

Lolida 2000
I saw this movie under a different title "O Lita 2000" Same story. Jacqueline Lovell is beautiful as always. She hosts this movie with viginettes throughout. One is of a woman (Gabriella Hall) who was kidnapped by aliens and her memory returns about what happened onboard the spaceship. A man travels through time and has sex in each time period. My favorite was the Female Space Traveller (Chandra) who gets caught by a xenophobic race and put through sexual torment of the brain.

Ms. Lovell has a solo pleasure scene to round out the film. Seeing Jackie's body is always a treat for this fan! ... Read more

Shadow dropped the ball again! R rated version.
Just want to make sure other people are aware that the recent DVD release (Mar 11, 2004) of this movie from Shadow is the 80 minute R rated version. Not the 90 minute unrated version.

NO TOO SHABBY
Notable because it's Mia's first appreance in a film; she's young and it was made well before she unfortunately went the breast impant route. It's about a sexy jungle girl (Lis Throw) who has the ability to remain young and attracts the attention of some nasty scientists. Lisa Comshaw is a bonus.

I kind of liked this one!
For a long time there Surrender Cinema's stuff was going downhill, at least in my opinion. This video isn't perfect, but at least it's not nearly as bad as some of their more recent releases (e.g. Virgins of Sherwood Forest).

For one thing, they're slowly getting back to including some more of the girl-girl action that made them popular in the first place. I especially liked the scene in this video where the girl is in the bath, and then some strange woman shows up and joins her. Yes, it might have been nice to explain who she was, but it was a nice scene nonetheless.

A must see
Lisa Throw (a.k.a. Nenna Quiroz) is a multi-talented performer adept not only at looking gorgeous while swinging from jungle vines, but at playing her role for comic effect too. She sizzles on screen and should prove to be a valuable addition to the Surrender Girl Sorority"...Lisa's response, "I was knocked out by the review of Shandra because the writer actually got what we were trying to do. great film of this genre
This is a sequel that is just as erotic as the original. This is one of the best films produced by surrender cinama, To bad the main characters in this movie did not have the ability to make people make love as a special power. In femailien I, kara uses this power to create some very hot situations..That one is also great

Not as good as the first one, but still good.
Femalien II picks up kind of where Femalien left off. Kara has been running all over southern California have sex with everyone and two other aliens are sent to bring her back. The bulk of the movie is these aliens visiting various locations where they think they might find Kara, and watching or participating in sex.

There are plenty of sex scenes. And all are good. The women are attractive, especially Bethany Lorraine. She's really the main reason to watch this. Unfortunately there's no Jacqueline Lovell in this one and Vanesa Talor only has one scene. Also, compared to Femalien 1 and other Surrender titles, this one is a little tamer. For instance, there's "sort of" a girl/girl scene in the strip club with Bethany Lorraine. But I guess Bethany would only go so far because it doesn't ever go beyond caressing and some mild kissing. However, there is another girl/girl scene where the girls are much more "interested" in each other and Bethany Lorraine does have two girl/boy scenes where she does more.

Overall, it's good softcore that is very cheap and I can easily recommend it. It's just not in the same league as Surrender's earlier titles.

Bad Acting...Hot Stars
I must admit that I am a guy and that I bought this movie before seeing it. I was not shocked with the horrible acting, but was surprised with the hot stars. This movie had both hot guys and girls. The actor that caught my eye was Steven Albrecht "Freddy", he is so hot. We get see him completely nude showing off his hot body. He did a great job in his breif scene. Josh Edwards "Trian" was okay to look at too. As for the actress...Venesa Taylor is also hot.

There is a thinly, thinly, thinly veiled attempt at creating a plot and at acting in this fairly dirty blue movie. Kara (Venesa Talor) is sent to experience bodily pleasure by her alien species, which leads to numerous unconnected, plot-irrelevant encounters with all kinds of buxom babes and buff guys. The pool, the massage parlor, the avant-garde theater--these kooky humans seem to be going at it everywhere! Kara must believe that she's landed not on Earth, but the planet Silicone, but she never seems to kvetch about it. Some great looking people in this video!!
I've seen many soft-core videos like this, mostly because the actors are young, fresh, and willing to bare all as they try to advance their careers. This movie rates very highly in my book. The acting and production values may not be in the very top range of professionalism, but this just adds to the feeling that we are "looking in" to the lives of these college students. My favorite scene is towards the end of the movie - in the saloon. The hunky cowboy who is being fantasized about is incredibly sexy and beautiful. He alone is the reason to watch this movie!

Think Pink
This movie is probably one of the most explicit you can see in the softcore genre... a couple scenes could make it into a Penthouse video. It's a real collector's item if you are a fan of Kara Styler (aka Chrissy Styler) a six foot tall bombshell who has an incredibley fit body. Her stipper sequence leaves nothing to the imagination and her threeway with super hot Nikki Fritz is a sizzler. And that masseuse scene, yep, it shows stuff you'd see from Penthouse. Surrender Cinema's Director's Cut versions of their movies usually show this kind of hot, envelope pushing stuff. Hotter than Playboy but not really porn.

If you liked the first one, you'll like this one. I did.
This has no relationship to Virtual Encounters 1, so it's not really a sequel. The two videos just share the general concept of people having simulated sex through a virtual reality machine. So if you were really blown away by the story and dialog in VC 1 (yeah, right), and expecting a continuation in VC 2, just be warned. All the actors and actresses are new, but it has the same excellent director, Sybil Richards.

But like VC 1, you get lots of beautiful women and a lot of great sex scenes that push the envelope of soft core just about as far as it can go.

If you have VC 1 and you liked it, you'll like VC 2. If you don't have either, but like really good softcore sex, get both.

Another winner from Surrender Cinema
Count Virtual Encounters 2 among the ranks of sequels having absolutely no connection with their predecessors. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but in this case the story (what there is of it) falls a little short of the original. Matt really likes Ginger, but he figures he doesn't stand a chance with her. This being the case, he decides to order a virtual reality system in which he can experience vicariously the things unavailable to him in the real world. Once his roommate finds out about the amazing product, he convinces Matt to go into business selling time under the goggles to students all over campus. Eventually, Ginger herself undergoes the experience, and this leads to a rather predictable ending. The mature content of this movie is quite good, and there is also quite a lot of it. As always, Surrender Cinema was able to round up a cast of attractive and at least somewhat talented actresses (and actors, I suppose, but I tried not to pay much attention to the guys). When it comes to these sorts of dumb, sex-oriented movies, Surrender Cinema simply cannot be beat, which makes it hard for me to figure out why the company seems to have disappeared. I personally prefer the original Virtual Encounters to this sequel, but either one is more than capable of entertaining anyone interested in this type of good, clean fun-okay, maybe it's not that clean, but it's definitely good.

A pleasure trip to the sexy
I really like this movie as it's not trying to make itself serious but it successfully registers as a movie with aimless fun. I like erotic movies that isn't serious but silly in a cute way,unless you have a Shannon Tweed as headliner.

Stay away from the rated r version
Once again the censors do a skin-o-max movie wrong. The reason most people rent or buy flicks like this is for soft-core / couples sexy viewing. We all understand that the plot and acting is typically low rate but we count on some camp, humor and of course some sexy people in sexy scenes. This R rated version up for sale here is cut to shreads! I suggest finding a store that carries the un-rated version where the sex is better and the views are not hampered by up-tight censors.

Surprisingly Tasteful Adult Movie
I caught this movie late one evening and probably wouldn't have even bothered with it if hadn't been for the expression on one the actor's face's when he saw the Wax models of the Marquis de Sade and two serving girls come to life and get down to some real business on a large four poster bed. I'm not normally into sex films but this movie actually was quite a lot of fun to watch and the acting was surprisingly good. In the end the plot was pretty flimsy, with an emphasis on the cast to get their kit off in a variety of fun ways but it actually worked quite well.

Quite simply a group of four young people, all recently out of college go to a Wax Museum that has been left to one of them by their Grandfather. It turned out that he had penchant for displaying some of history's more erotic figures in a variety of poses in his wax museum and with the help of a mysterious caped figure and a gold amulet, these wax figures come to life at night and enjoy themselves in the sexiest ways possible. Through several escapades which include Romeo and Juliet, Anthony and Cleopatra etc we are treated to a little bit of a mystery, a snippet of drama, a bit of a love story and quite a lot of comedy mixed in with the more mature side of an adult film. All in all it was quite enjoyable and I think I might be tempted to see the 'The Exotic Time Machine' if I get the chance.

Wax figures need love too
The Exotic House of Wax: Legacy of Lust is another enjoyable erotic film from the folks at Surrender Cinema. I actually liked the story, hokey as it was, but of course the script is really just a means to an end in this type of movie. Josie's grandfather Vincent dies and leaves her his beloved House of Wax. She, her friend Star (played by fan favorite Jacqueline Lovell), and two male friends vow to reopen the business despite the fact it is currently residing rather deeply in the red and a neighborhood group of uppity goody-goodies is determined to get rid of the place for good. This is no ordinary House of Wax, though. For one thing, Josie's grandfather had apparently been preparing to transform the place into an Erotic House of Wax. For another thing, it eventually becomes apparent, to the amazement of the four new business partners, that the wax figures in the museum sometimes come alive and fulfill whatever wax-fuelled erotic fantasies they have. When the secret of making the figures come alive at will is discerned, Josie and her friends seize the opportunity to save the House of Wax from bankruptcy and destruction.

This really is a fun movie. Watching the guys' faces when they first witness wax figures coming to life and performing in front of their eyes is pretty amusing. The talented Jacqueline Lovell is always a joy to watch, and there are plenty of sex scenes for almost all the characters to either gape at or engage in. The Exotic House of Wax is far better than most films you will find in this mature genre; it has everything most films of this type lack-decent acting, attractive ladies, an impressive number of quality sex scenes, and, it goes without saying, Jacqueline Lovell. Surrender Cinema, to my knowledge, never disappoints, and this movie does nothing to make me doubt my conviction of this fact.

High Quality, for Soft Porn
High Quality, that is for soft porn. Most of the people in the film can act. Most of the girls are real not silicone. The picture is clear, not grainy. The film has a plot that does more then just to serve up sex scenes. Don't buy it for the plot though, as if you would. The sex scenes are good, especially the four girl orgy. Everyone seems to be having fun and there is not a bored look to be found. The kink scene was nicely staged. The spanking lacked zest, but the candle wax was hot. This whole movie just exudes professionalism, from the acting to the camera work to whatever else directors do that makes a film a real treat to watch. You won't find this many attractive women in most films of this type, either. Venesa Taylor in particular is a living doll; hers is a classic beauty that is quite rare these days. She is just completely captivating. She has talent, too, and her naïve, innocent manner of speech and appearance just suits her role in this movie to a tee. The sex scenes, even the ones that don't include Venesa Taylor, are also as good as you will find in movies of this genre. Basically, Femalien has it all. Forget about all the disappointments you may have felt when watching other supposedly good movies of this type; Femalien is sure to please. As long as you are aware of this movie's exceedingly erotic nature and don't approach it expecting a thrilling science fiction adventure, there is simply no way you can be disappointed.

Aliens Study the Sensual Arts
I was in the mood for some alien invasion movies the other day and watched a small marathon. As well as such movies as The Arrival, I watched a film called Femalien. Femalien reminds me of a modern remake of The Girl From Starship Venus.

Femalien is the story of an alien landing on Earth to study human interactions. The energy being is given the form of a young woman. What follows are scenes of her spying on couples and her interactions with others. The alien is collecting and cataloging experiences for her race who have risen above physicality but still miss it. During her adventures she tries to help a local woman retain ownership of her diner.

While the plot is weak I do recommend this film for those times when a movie like Invasion of the Star Creatures or Galaxina is the sort of thing you are looking for.

Excellent actresses; stupid "plot"
This movie uses science fiction as a flimsy excuse to accomplish a few plot objectives, like transporting back to her bedroom instead of seducing, etc. And the plot itself gets so ridiculous that you really wouldn't want to stick around for the ending...
But, I'll bet you will. I did, and I'm glad I did. If you liked the first love scene in "Mulholland Drive", you will love this movie. Mostly for the ending scene, but there's a little more to it.
Somehow these actors make you forget the ridiculous setups for the sex scenes. It's almost tastefully done. Unlike in hardcore, these people actually look like real people (although much more attractive) when making love. And in spite of the script, they manage to create a little bit of sexual tension.
But that's if your trying to follow the "story". If you just like to see some really beautiful women (and/or men) getting naked, I can highly recommend this on that subject. As many reviewers have stated, the lead is ravishing. She a little believeable in the role, but who cares: she's super hot! And the others are very nice too-- not a dud in the bunch.
So, even though this is another smoothjazz softcore movie, it's not typical. It's very beautiful, and very dumb. In other words, any Heather Graham fans will get it.

Simply the Best, in my humble opinion... :o)
As an adult female that never ever considered purchasing a movie of this sort before, I must say that I really enjoyed it (I'm glad that I did).
My goodness, the female lead is beyond words.
Not that I've ever thought of another female in that way before (I might just change my mind).
So far, I've purchased and viewed 2 other Surrender Cinema movies, they were great, as well.
But, I must say 1 particular scene in this movie made me a convert, it did.
All in all, I'm really glad that I purchased it.

Some great looking people in this video!!
I've seen many soft-core videos like this, mostly because the actors are young, fresh, and willing to bare all as they try to advance their careers. This movie rates very highly in my book. The acting and production values may not be in the very top range of professionalism, but this just adds to the feeling that we are "looking in" to the lives of these college students. My favorite scene is towards the end of the movie - in the saloon. The hunky cowboy who is being fantasized about is incredibly sexy and beautiful. He alone is the reason to watch this movie!

Think Pink
This movie is probably one of the most explicit you can see in the softcore genre... a couple scenes could make it into a Penthouse video. It's a real collector's item if you are a fan of Kara Styler (aka Chrissy Styler) a six foot tall bombshell who has an incredibley fit body. Her stipper sequence leaves nothing to the imagination and her threeway with super hot Nikki Fritz is a sizzler. And that masseuse scene, yep, it shows stuff you'd see from Penthouse. Surrender Cinema's Director's Cut versions of their movies usually show this kind of hot, envelope pushing stuff. Hotter than Playboy but not really porn.

If you liked the first one, you'll like this one. I did.
This has no relationship to Virtual Encounters 1, so it's not really a sequel. The two videos just share the general concept of people having simulated sex through a virtual reality machine. So if you were really blown away by the story and dialog in VC 1 (yeah, right), and expecting a continuation in VC 2, just be warned. All the actors and actresses are new, but it has the same excellent director, Sybil Richards.

But like VC 1, you get lots of beautiful women and a lot of great sex scenes that push the envelope of soft core just about as far as it can go.

If you have VC 1 and you liked it, you'll like VC 2. If you don't have either, but like really good softcore sex, get both.

Another winner from Surrender Cinema
Count Virtual Encounters 2 among the ranks of sequels having absolutely no connection with their predecessors. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but in this case the story (what there is of it) falls a little short of the original. Matt really likes Ginger, but he figures he doesn't stand a chance with her. This being the case, he decides to order a virtual reality system in which he can experience vicariously the things unavailable to him in the real world. Once his roommate finds out about the amazing product, he convinces Matt to go into business selling time under the goggles to students all over campus. Eventually, Ginger herself undergoes the experience, and this leads to a rather predictable ending. The mature content of this movie is quite good, and there is also quite a lot of it. As always, Surrender Cinema was able to round up a cast of attractive and at least somewhat talented actresses (and actors, I suppose, but I tried not to pay much attention to the guys). When it comes to these sorts of dumb, sex-oriented movies, Surrender Cinema simply cannot be beat, which makes it hard for me to figure out why the company seems to have disappeared. I personally prefer the original Virtual Encounters to this sequel, but either one is more than capable of entertaining anyone interested in this type of good, clean fun-okay, maybe it's not that clean, but it's definitely good.

The bulk of the movie is these aliens visiting various locations where they think they might find Kara, and watching or participating in sex.

There are plenty of sex scenes. And all are good. The women are attractive, especially Bethany Lorraine. She's really the main reason to watch this. Unfortunately there's no Jacqueline Lovell in this one and Vanesa Talor only has one scene. Also, compared to Femalien 1 and other Surrender titles, this one is a little tamer. For instance, there's "sort of" a girl/girl scene in the strip club with Bethany Lorraine. But I guess Bethany would only go so far because it doesn't ever go beyond caressing and some mild kissing. However, there is another girl/girl scene where the girls are much more "interested" in each other and Bethany Lorraine does have two girl/boy scenes where she does more.

Overall, it's good softcore that is very cheap and I can easily recommend it. It's just not in the same league as Surrender's earlier titles.

Bad Acting...Hot Stars
I must admit that I am a guy and that I bought this movie before seeing it. I was not shocked with the horrible acting, but was surprised with the hot stars. This movie had both hot guys and girls. The actor that caught my eye was Steven Albrecht "Freddy", he is so hot. We get see him completely nude showing off his hot body. He did a great job in his breif scene. Josh Edwards "Trian" was okay to look at too. As for the actress...Venesa Taylor is also hot.

Average Surrender Cinema Movie
As my second Surrender Cinema flick I was looking forward to seeing Virtual Encounters. Not only do I love Elizabeth Cayton (Slave Girls From Beyond Infinity) but I had just seen The Exotic House Of Wax by Surrender Cinema, and aside from it being an outright soft core porno, it had an interesting storyline between the sex as well.

Not so with Virtual Encounters. While it was nice to see the expected sex scenes aplenty in this movie, there was no story whatsoever.

Kaitan hooks herself up to the Virtual Reality machine and it shows her all types of sexual pleasures. They try and develop Kaitan's character as a shy woman who isn't comfortable with her sexuality. As a result, her relationship is suffering. Her boyfriend gives her the gift of Virtual Reality and she loves it.

A so-so movie I would watch the Exotic House Of Wax instead.

Not much of a plot to this movie, but who buys these types of movies for the plot anyway? I have the Director's Cut, Unrated version, not the R-Rated version. It is one of the best erotic films out there today, and definitely the best from Surrender Cinema. All the women, except for one, are very hot and sexy!! If you really like blondes or ... women or both, such as me, then you'll love one scene in particular called Oriental Massage involving two drop-dead gorgeous girls. The [woman] is an incredibly sexy Tricia Yen, and the blonde is the queen of softcore herself Jacqueline Lovelle. These two get together for a very hot scene that would captivate any guy. For guys who love petite blondes, there are 2 other scenes that you should especially love. If you understand what type of movie you're buying and you get the unrated version, there's no way you can be disappointed.

Virtually...
Why do we need the canned music for each sex scene? These type of movies are so much more erotic with some actual noise from the participants. Also, some of the boobs in this movie are monstruously unappealing. They are sooo fake it is such a turn off. Give me some perky 'A' cups over huge fake 'D' cups anyday.

I'll give this movie two stars, because some of the scenes had potential...

One of Surrender's good, early efforts. This is from the same director as Femalien and the two films are pretty comparable in quality. There are several sex scenes all tied around the concept of the main character's trip to a "virtual reality" studio. If the technology shown really existed, the company's profits would exceed those of GM, IBM, Coca Cola and Exxon-Mobil combined. :)

A couple of real highlights in the film were the strip club scene and the wet lesbian/three way. But all of the scenes were good.

Given the low price and high quality of the video, this is an easy recommendation.

Plenty of virtual encounters in this one
It is becoming pretty clear to me that Surrender Cinema is ahead of the game compared to other purveyors of erotic (all right-soft porn) movies. Virtual Encounters is an impressive effort. The look and sound of the movie are excellent, way beyond that of your typical naughty movie. The plot holds together, the acting is pretty good overall, and the players in the arena are generally pretty attractive. Amy (Elizabeth Kaitan) is a take-control kind of woman who is apparently somewhat reluctant to shift into intimacy overdrive with her boyfriend. He kindly gives her a deluxe pass to Virtual Encounters for her birthday. There she meets the disembodied, smooth-talking Rob, who guides her through a number of virtual reality sessions designed to help her discover her hidden desires and activate the wild gene that has been lying dormant inside her for too long. She starts slowly, simply observing, but eventually she becomes a participant in the sexual escapades revealed to her, taking on a number of different forms (including that of a man) in the course of the experience. The plot works pretty well because the moviemakers don't spend a whole lot of time worrying about it, preferring to simply jump from one virtual reality session to another fairly quickly. Things start slowing down a little bit midway through the film, but the last few scenes pick up the pace significantly. It goes without saying that Virtual Encounters is definitely for adults only. This is the kind of movie that will make an erotic movie fan out of anyone who sees it; basically, there's something here for just about everyone. ... Read more

Surrender, where have you gone?
This is a highlight package of Surrender Cinema's best girl-on-girl scenes. It includes probably the hottest non-hardcore lesbian scene you'll ever see, between Jacqueline Lovell (aka Sara St James) and Vanessa Taylor. These are "B-movie" scenes where you get the occasional flash of pink. I don't think Surrender Cinema is making movies anymore, but they were a groundbreaker in erotic movie making.

Pretty hot, but not the best
The previous review was fairly accurate, but I was a bit disappointed with this one. Not nearly as explicit as "Casting Couch" another recent Surrender release. Not much here that you can't see on cinemax. Also, Lovell really doesn't do it for me, and you won't see any of the familiar B-movie girls in this; mostly newcomers, some of whom are B+.

Not bad for a rainy night, but I doubt I will watch it again.

EXCELLENT LESBIAN ROMP
