Best "Little House" episode ever made
Hands down, I gotta say that this was the most wonderful "Little House" episode that I have ever seen!!! =) When the Ingalls family is blessed with a baby boy named Charles Ingalls Jr. after his father, young Laura is the only one who doesn't share in the joy. She is worried that this child will ultimately rob her of her father's love. She refuses to pray for the baby when he gets sick, and she stays away from him as often as possible. When the unhealthy infant dies, Laura runs away to the mountains with the belief that the baby's death is her fault. Atop a high mountain, she encounters a strange old man named Jonathan. Jonathan is undoubtedly a kind and loving soul, but it is primarily his incredible faith in Jesus that attracts Laura. Meanwhile, Laura's Pa and a family friend named Mr. Edwards go on a frantic search for her. Over the course of the movie, both Laura and her father learn some immense lessons on unconditional love and forgiveness. Melissa Gilbert is wonderful as the heartwarming Laura Ingalls, and Michael Landon makes Charles "Pa" Ingalls an altogether unforgettable character. Superb acting intertwined with a beautiful story on faith, love, and courage make this a wonderful movie for all ages. It's a great addition to the "Little House" collection. Buy it now! =)

This is episode is a tearjerker
This episode of little House On The Prairie is one of the best i have ever seen. When i was growing up this was one of my favorite shows and i am proud to say it still is. I have bought this episode along with the rest in hopes that one day when i have children they can appreciate this show as much as i do. Not to mention Laura Ingalls and i share the same name.Definately buy this video.

Great Story
This movie is actually quite touching, very well-acted, and highly entertaining. Little Melissa Gilbert is delightful; Michael Landon, good as always. And the story is genuinely poignant.

Definitely interesting!
At first you'd think the avenger that mysteriously comes into town is some sort of robber or murderer. But he turns out to save Ben's life and keep going on to save more people's lives. The Avenger will definitely leave you curious throughout the entire show. ... Read more

The Fugitive as Healer
One of the many themes running through four seasons of THE FUGITIVE is that of Kimble as the healer. In his pre-fugitive days, Kimble was a pediatrician. After his escape from the death train, in many episodes, he is seen as a healer of some sort, sometimes a healer of the body, others of the mind. In BRASS RING, Kimble as Ben Horton, lands a job as a personal attendant for a man crippled in both mind and soul. Robert Duvall plays Leslie Stevens, who years before suffered a car accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down. His paralysis affects him personally. He becomes withdrawn and abusive to his sister, Norma, played with a great deal of repressed sexuality by Angie Dickinson. Norma grows to hate her brother and his tantrums. It is only the fact that Leslie was given many thousands of dollars as an insurance settlement that keeps her by his side. Since she shies away from caring for a man with such total disability, she hires Kimble, but not only to care for him. Slowly, she compares Kimble's goodness to her boyfriend, Lars, who plans to kill him for the money, and the more she sees how Kimble interacts with Leslie, the better he looks. Kimble works with Leslie daily, overlooking the sarcasms dumped on him, knowing that he can help. And help he does. Little by little Kimble teaches Leslie how to regain mobility. Leslie, of course, is overjoyed and asks Kimble to leave town with him and spend the insurance money on riotous living. This idea does not sit well with Lars, who kills Leslie and blames the murder on Kimble. Surprisingly, Norma admits the truth to the police, knowing that she will go to jail for her role in the murder of her brother.
This episode, while not one of the series' finest, is still one of the better ones in that Kimble gets yet another opportunity to show how his inner goodness can act as a tonic to bring out the best in those who only suspect that they are good too.

Brass Ring
This episode, like almost all the others in the first 3 seasons episodes, was outstanding. The writing and acting are superb. David Jansen was the perfect actor in the perfect role in the golden age of television. I hope the entire series comes out on DVD some day. It is a series to be cherished.

Top-notch professional acting.Angie is fabulous(ly) sexy.
I never watched this series when they were originally aired but I now have about 105 episodes and this is one of the best.Angie is a perfect example of how to be sexy without any of the obvious methods used today and without showing any skin. Not once did I hear the word,"okay" in this version. Great stuff.

Devious couple tries to frame Kimble with murder
Norma Sessions (Angie Dickinson) hires Kimble to care for her brother Leslie (Robert Duvall) who is physically disabled. Kimble doesn't realize that Norma and her boyfriend are plotting to murder Leslie to collect the insurance money. TIRED OF YOUR BONANZA VIDEO WITH A BAD SOUND?

I HAD THESE EPISODES ON OTHER TAPES AND THEY WERE NOT THAT GREAT, UNTILL THIS ONE CAME ALONG BUT THIS IS THE BEST. Not a stranger.
I just baught this tape to have the episode [Showdown] very hard to get anywhere else.The title, [THE STRANGER] is not what is on this video. It's [DEATH AT DAWN]I don't know why the company made this mistake I guess only they know, though very much missleading...these are good episodes.Taped in sp and in stereo.Sound is fine and the picture is good, worth the money. ...
