I have been watching Addams-related media for quite some time, and although this film isn't much better than the others, it is certainly a far cry from being much WORSE as well. The toughest part of this film was getting used to the new faces. After that, the second toughest part was getting used to the poor graphics given to the killer dog, but those are just inconsistensies and budget issues that could hardly be avoided... Thing was still a blast, Wednesday was still a lovable deadpan, Pugley was still a delinquent, etc, etc... I found almost nothing wrong with the film except for what I mentioned above. Now a lot of people say the plot was common. This is only partially true. I agree that I wouldn't be surprised to see a plot like this showcased in the classic '60s series, but there would not have been as much adventure if it had been in that series. Not only that, there is so little FAITHFUL Addams material coming out nowadays, we should feel blessed as long as they don't become the brady bunch. (I have been rather Addams-starved for a while.) I don't think I can explain it better than that. So all in all, a nice little film that doesn't tread on our memories and stays faithful to our well-established characters. A continuation of what's already been started, and really, isn't that what every sequal ought to be? ... Read more

The movie itself was decently written and has a semi-original storyline. Special effect are, as was to be expected, on the low-end of technology but there is quite a lot of running and quite a lot of blood. For a sci-fi horror fan, this movie rates just high enough to be in the collection. ... Read more

Here, Rhonda (Julie Brown) and her husband, Charlie (George Wendt), finally get out of prison for having imposed their vigilante style justice on a number of undesirables. Oblivious to the error of their ways, they go on their merry way and end up in the town of Justice, Arizona, where livestock is being killed in a ritualistic manner. The local yokels are blaming it on aliens, rumors that are being fueled by real estate developers in hopes of buying dirt cheap the properties of those yokels who panic. Charlie and Rhonda aren't the least bit disturbed by the rumors. After all, they are aliens themselves. Meanwhile, their daughter, Daphne (Anastasia Sakelaris), unbeknownst to them, is returning to Earth with her Earthling husband, Joseph (Christopher M. Brown), in order to bring her parents home to their planet. In between the parties connecting with the each other, mayhem rules in Justice, and before you know it, Rhonda and Charlie find themselves deputized as sheriffs, in hope of bringing law and order to the town. There is nothing that these alien vigilantes would like more. Playing by their own rules, which are formulated upon their own skewed perceptions, Charlie and Rhonda rout out the evil doers. In the meantime, Daphne and Joseph have their own little adventures. This does make for some very funny scenes, but they are few and far between. Still, those viewers who enjoyed the prequel will, undoubtedly, enjoy this sequel.

Amazon.com Based on fact, the film stars Jonathan Aube as hunky naif Chad Patterson, fresh from graduate school but lured by big money and sleazy opportunities afforded by Chippendales, where the lust of women is big business and seething grudges between the owner (Shelley Malil) and an untrustworthy choreographer (Peter Nevargic) spill over into homicidal conspiracies. Too much of the film plays like a poor man's Boogie Nights, with beefcake morons wasting away as temptation takes its toll. But the key performances of Malil and Nevargic are crisp and interesting, and the dance-floor action never stalls. --Tom Keogh Reviews (7)
Sadly the film doesn't stand up to much critical scrutiny. The acting is uneven with some performances being good and others laughable. The script is also uneven, laden with cliches. The costuming and make-up is far worse. I know that this is a period piece set in the early 80's, but the wigs look atrocious -- exactly how they shouldn't -- like wigs! Yeah, the guys are hot enough and there is even some (but not enough) full frontal male nudity, so it might be worth a second look, but overall the production qualities leave much to be desired.
As seen through the eyes of club worker Chad (Johnathan Abue, playing a role loosely based on real-life Dan Peterson), JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH is surprisingly dark and surprisingly factual. Steve Banerjee (Shelley Malil) is just another club owner until he stumbles into the idea of male strippers playing to a women-only audience, and the ringing cash register attracts ambitious and obnoxious choreographer Nick Denoia (Peter Nevargic). Once Denoia gets wise to Banerjee's shady dealings he quickly blackmails the club owner into signing away the touring rights to the show. But when it comes to underhanded manipulations, Banerjee proves Denoia's equal and then some: the sex, drugs, and rock and roll atmosphere of the club quickly gives way to a headlong rush into murder, and the ride is straight down all the way. Payne's script isn't as tight as it might be, and it sometimes goes off on tangents that add little to the overall impact of the film, but the actors are first rate all the way and increasingly convoluted nature of the conspiracies and counter-conspiracies make for a fascinating ride. And to up the ante, Payne endows the entire film with an unexpectedly dark humor and sense of irony that rings true even in the movie's weaker moments. Yes, there are plenty of naked bodies (both male and female) on display, but ultimately JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH is less about sex than it is about an extremely unsavory and seldom acknowledged side of the American dream, a drive for success that flattens every moral obstacle it meets. In one particularly memorable scene, Banerjee snarls that Joe Kennedy built his fortune on illegal bootleg liquor and even sitting President Reagan lied to congress to finance a secret war; bending the law is the American way. But not every one can get away with it--and even for those who do there is a price. In this instance the price ranges from emotional deadness to drug addiction to accidental incest to blood. And every one has to pay. GFT, Amazon Reviewer
