5-0 out of 5 stars An unsung classic
This is one of the most powerfully affecting movies I've ever seen about the problems of post-traumatic stress disorder. The actors are uniformly excellent, particularly TV god Don Johnson in a tough role. Only two war movies have ever brought me to tears, and the other one was "Saving Private Ryan." It's that good.

5-0 out of 5 stars Healing Movie
As the wife of a combat wounded Vietnam Veteran, I live daily with the affects of that war. This movie helped my husband and I to see what OUR lives looked like! It was like watching a movie of us! My husband was so moved, and helped, by this movie that he bought 10 copies, gave one to the "Vet Center" in Norwich, Ct. for the use of all vets, kept one for us, and gave the rest to his veteran brothers who are having difficulties like those portrayed in the movie. This is an OUTSTANDING movie ,and Don Johnson (and friends) gave a brilliant performance as a Vietnam Veteran suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This is a validating movie, one that all Vietnam Veterans AND their families need to see.

5-0 out of 5 stars A classic under the vietnamgenre
This low budget movie about the trauma of a vietnamveteran named Tim,( played by don johnson) is one of the few pieces of work who realy can catch your emotions, and gives a very realistic view on the vietnamscene.Centering around his hidden traumatic experience wich he kept secret for his wife (Lisa blount),but start slowly to come out with the truth in combination with his own flashbacks and violence towards his family. The medium quality of the cameras are turned out perfect to create the semi documentary atmosphere. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars You must watch this movie 100 times
I admit I've seen this movie more than the average person, but this is no average movie. The bar scene alone rivals such films as: Top Gun, Roadhouse, and The Adventures of Ford Fairlane. Admittedly, not many people have seen any of the Trancers movies, but those who have can appreciate its utter brilliance. Great lines from Tim Thomerson like, "Lady I am tough," and "Your probably just another dizzy b**** from Melrose... Shopping all day," make this flick classic. If you show me someone who doesn't think Jack Deth is the sweetest character alive, I'll show you a fruitcake who's probably better off watching re-runs of The Nanny. If you like Trancers, also check out The Castlefreak

5-0 out of 5 stars Engarde ...
This movie is 100% pure [action.] I used to work in a video store, i know what i'm talking about here. people who rag on the special effects, or the makeup, and all that jazz. what's the point, this was made in 1993, it barely cost anything to make, and it had me laughing the entire time. I mean seriously guys, just the lines Tom Thomerson spouts off are worth the ...this movie costs. i haven't seen trancers 1, 2, 3, or 5, but after seeing this on i want to buy the entire set. and hopefully they're as good. if sequels slowly decline, then 1, 2, and 3 must be awesome!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best In The Trancers Series!!!!!!!!
Future cop Jack Deth (Tim Thomerson) is back with a gun in his hand, a chip on his shoulder and a sneer on his lips. But this time Jack travels "down the line" for a supernatural showdown with his most cunning enemy yet!
The mystical land of Orpheus has fallen victim to a breed of bloodsucking Trancers who are busily draining the populace dry. And it's here, in the mist-shrouded land of medieval villages and castles, that Jack arrives to do battle! But before he can effectively singe the Trancers, he'll have to win the heart of a beautiful slave girl, take command of an underground rebel army, and defy a wizard's prophecy of his own death. Hey, it's all in a day's work for a world-weary Trancer hunter...

4-0 out of 5 stars THE 4th INSTALLMENT IN THE TRANCERS SERIES!!!!!!
Jack Deth returns meaner and better than ever.Although it can't beat the first three movies and espically PART III but this is okay too.

Jack Deth is a future cop and kicks Trancers butts.Trancers are zombie-like creatures who want world destruction.
But Jack suddenly ends up in an alternate dimension ruled by vampire-like Trancers.

THE BACKGROUND IN THIS MOVIE LOOKS FAMILAR.THAT'S BECAUSE THE VLADILAS CASTLE from the Subspecies series is in the background. So I guess Jack is in Transylvania?

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Flic
Can be seen as a stand-alone or combined with Trancers 5. It has romance, action, continuity, and humour. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Beginning of everything...
Years ago, when Dr. Mark Green had hair, and Carter looked like a high school graduate, ER debuted. It has been one of the most succesful shows on TV ever! and although many of its original starts are no longer in the shows, it still rocks.

If you are a fan (if you are reading this, you probably are), see how every thing got started. The long shifts, the bad pay, the terrible food and the addiction to coffee, these actors made ER what it is today. I love it. Every now and then I watch the pilot again. It moves me all the time.

See Mark Green in action and Dr. Benton's attitude in a pilot that started it all.

Do yourself a favor and buy it. You will not regret it.

Enjoy the show!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Show Of All Time
"ER" has been my favorite show ever since it came on the air. I love every bit of the suspense and I can't say that I have ever seen an episode that I thought was boring. Every single episode if wonderfully made and I love each character for their originality. My favorite female character was Julianna Marguiles though (Dr. Carol Hathaway). She is such an excellent actress and I admire her for all she has accomplished. Noah Wyle, what a hottie! Well, I am only 13 years old, but I still love everything about this show and always will! The first episode was interesting and inspiring. It just shows you that this may be a TV show, but in real life, these things go on.

4-0 out of 5 stars This Pilot is Also in The Complete First Season DVD Boxset!
ER is a great show and the premier pilot movie is very good and introduces us to the great characters actors and stories that made the TV show so interesting to watch. One of my favorite characters is Carol Hathaway played by the teriffic Julianna Margulies (SP?) and this pilot really showcases her talents but also terrific are George Clooney as Doug Ross, Anthony Edwards as Mark Greene, Eriq Lasalle as Peter Benton, Noah Whylie as John Carter and Sherry Stringfield as Susan. If you have a DVD player I recommend buying the complete first season on DVD because it has this very same pilot and all the rest of the episodes of season 1 so why limit yourself to just the pilot?

4-0 out of 5 stars Get the scoop on the beginnings of one tvs best
ER is a great series. I personally don't watch anymore--stopped a year ago. [It's a time slot issue... sleep vs. tv] However, this is a genius show with a lot to offer and if you missed the beginning of the series, it's a great way to catch up!

5-0 out of 5 stars ER shines in this Brilliant Masterpiece
ER was brilliant. I was just sitting there without taking my eyes off the T.V. If you love the drama and suspense this is your show. It was so real unlike other shows where you know where all the gadgets and computer animation was done, it was like you were right there next to the doctors and looking at the patient. ER shows the truth behind being a doctor in the hospital its turns, ups and downs and consequences. Although we know none of its real, all fiction it is very alive and realistic. Watching it over and over never got boring for me, it was just better. It was very interesting getting to know the crew and its begginning. I give ER the best ratting five out of five. ... This paranoia-fueled thriller, more intelligent and imaginative than you would have reason to believe, owes a huge debt to The Stepford Wives with its premise of a goody-good high school clique programmed by an evil doctor to be wholesome, academically driven, and shining examples of clean living. Unlike its predecessor, though, David Nutter's film opts to open up its premise for everyone to see, diluting the scares but amplifying the creepy atmosphere. There's never any question of what's happening to the students of Cradle Bay High, who go from being druggies and sex fiends to the academically excellent Blue Ribbons, but it's a lot of fun to see these programmed teens run amok--and start killing people--when their hormones kick in. And considering they're all horny teenagers, this happens, oh, at least a few times a day. Model-perfect James Marsden, with stunning cheekbones and piercing blue eyes, is the new kid in town who stumbles on the plot with a little help from metalhead Nick Stahl. Moody Marsden stirs up trouble when he refuses to join up with the Blue Ribbons, prompting his concerned parents to consider signing him up for the program, especially after it turns Stahl into a vest-wearing, pep-rallying brainiac. The satire isn't entirely fulfilled (the evil kids hang out at the yogurt shop and spout inspirational platitudes), but once the action kicks in it's quite an enjoyable ride, thanks primarily to Bruce Greenwood (of The Sweet Hereafter) as the mad scientist behind it all and Katie Holmes (Go) as Marsden's love interest. Refusing the advances of the star football player and fighting gamely alongside Marsden, Holmes manages to deck a few bad guys with a fervor that squarely puts her in Linda Hamilton and Jamie Lee Curtis territory. With Steve Railsback as the colluding chief of police and Dan Zudovic as a janitor with a penchant for getting rid of "rats," rodent and otherwise. --Mark Englehart ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars TEEN ANGST
While DISTURBING BEHAVIOR is a notch above many of the teen slasher movies, what's most disturbing are some of the deleted scenes they left out, which would have fit nicely into the sometimes confusing film.
James Marsden who would go on to X-MEN, plays the handsome young student who is still suffering from the untimely death of his older brother. His family moves him to Cradle Bay, where a group of students called "The Blue Ribbons" epitomize the perfect teen---they hang out in a yogurt shoppe, for instance! But since they are merely under the mind control of dastardly Bruce Greenwood (always the bad guy it seems), they go out of control and eliminate anyone who stands in their way. Katie Holmes is around for the beauty aspect, but she is a good actress, too. Nick Stahl (Terminator 3) does well in his role as Gavin until he becomes one of the Blue ribbons and its downhill for his performance, too. William Sadler does great in his role as the seemingly ignorant janitor, and Tobias Mehler once again shows his potential in a rather thankless role.
Director David Nutter keeps things eerily spooky, but I wish these directors would stop using songs to bolster their box office. So many times the vocal background songs merely get in the way.
All in all, a tidy little thriller.

2-0 out of 5 stars Had Potential, But At Least We Get Katie Holmes
This teen thriller could of been something interesting. I've heard rumors that it was butchered in the editing room and studio people toyed with it. I believe it. It seems like there was more there than the final product we got to see. James Marsden stars as a kid who's family moves to Cradle Bay. He soon realizes the good students at school, called the Blue Ribbons, are not what they seem. Think of it as "The Stepford Students". The cast is all pretty decent, especially Nick Stahl. James Marsden is too much of a jock to feel that he would be much of an outsider. It's always nice to see Bill Sadler too. But, if all else fails, there's Katie Holmes. Sweet, lovely, adorable Katie. Bestill my beating heart. Sorry. Where was I?. This is an okay film that doesn't exactly make you think you wasted your time. It could of been so much better. There was so much promise to it.

OMIFG! This was one of THE worst movies ever made! Me and my cousin watched it last night, and were crackinig up, the script is hilarious! Who actually talks like that?! We watched it for a half hour only because we wanted to see if it would get any better, uhhh...sadly, no. We watched "American Beauty" instead *brilliant.* I really loved James Marsden in "Gossip"-which was an excellent movie, but the only thing 'disturbing' about this was the writing. Like James, l also liked his weird friend in "Wasted" but not at all in this. I love Katie Holmes, but even she couldn't help this project, talk about a WASTE OF FILM MONEY AND TIME!

1-0 out of 5 stars Blecchh (warning - spoiler ahead)
This was an awful movie. The premise was an obvious rip off an Outer Limits episode (Straight and Narrow), but I was curious to see what could be done with the topic in a feature-length format. I was sadly disappointed. The film eliminated everything that was interesting about the Outer Limits episode, and instead filled itself with...nothing. In the end the viewer is left with no real reason not to believe the "bad guys" about the hormonally induced killing being a temporary and soon to be remedied side effect. By the time the credits rolled, I was not convinced that the microchips were a bad idea, when properly executed, and I don't think leaving the audience with that ambiguity was the intention of the filmmakers. To sum up: don't watch this movie. It's bad. Watch the 1990's uter Limits episode, "Straight and Narrow," starring Ryan Philippe, instead. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars So good it's hard to believe it was a TV show
I was certainly sorry when Fox cancelled Millennium, but on the other hand, it's damn near miraculous that a show this intelligent, original, challenging and disturbing made it on to TV at all, let alone managed to survive for three seasons. I give this tape only four stars because although the series got off to an excellent start it didn't really hit its stride until the last third of the first season, when elements of the supernatural started creeping (and creep is definitely the operative word here) into it, and Millennium slowly transformed into the absolute best horror/fantasy/sf series ever. Although it was always just as much a drama, too. Forget TV, I can't even think of very many films in the genre that can touch this program for subtlty and smarts. For instance, in the brilliant episode "Powers, Principalities, Thrones and Dominions," it becomes fairly apparent that one character is an angel and another is a man posessed by a demon, but nothing is ever explicitly indicated. Now, in pretty much any other show or film they'd hit you over the head with it. They'd probably have the demon-guy's eyes glow red when no one's looking or just have him outright state something that makes his identity unmistakable. They'd probably have the angel-guy sprout wings at some point. But Millennium was almost unique in the extent to which it always demonstrated unusual faith in the intelligence of its audience. And I'd like to add my voice to the chorus clamoring here for the release of the series on DVD, just in case anyone from Fox happens by.

5-0 out of 5 stars Please FOX, release Millennium on DVD
I agree with what many others have said, Millennium is by far one of the best shows ever made. FOX has made a habit of killing great TV series (Firefly is another example of that). I hope FOX will realize that there is a huge following for this show and release all three seasons in the ultimate DVD box set!!!!!!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Millennium was the best show
Why they took Millennium off the air I will never know. I looked forward to the show every Friday night. Fox should have let it go on to at least the year 2000 like it was meant to be. Please bring out a boxed set.

5-0 out of 5 stars Millenniun TV Fox Series
I thought the Millenium on Fox was the best SFi/adventure series on TV,I actually started to like it more than the X-Files series. I never knew that it was being taken off the air untill I waited for it to come back on in the Fall season and to my dismay it did not. It would be nice if the Sc-Fi channel would become interested in it and started a new series. Chris Carter have you thought about "reinventing it on a channel like the Sci-Fi channel". My comments will probably go by the wayside...but just maybe some how "Out there" someone will think about the possibilities of bringing it back. Signed, "Misser of the Best Sci-Fi/Adventure on TV", KarlBuzz

5-0 out of 5 stars Millenium TV Series Deserves to be on DVD
I'm adding my voice to the list of others here who have expressed their interest in seeing the Millenium TV series brought to DVD.

I read just over a year ago on www.digitalbits.com (http://www.thedigitalbits.com/articles/120202htfchat.html) that Millenium may be coming to DVD, however, I have yet to find any additional information on this topic.

I loved this series and was very sad to see it come to such a sudden end. If it ever makes it to DVD, I'll be there to buy it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars SuperForce true 1980's action
This was a very fun show when I was 13 to 15. This show was right after Superboy the live TV show. The one thing that made this show good that alot of new shows do not have. Is fun idea for stories. As today ever thing has to much CGI and no story any more. This show had CGI but not very good. But I like fun stories better then good cgi and a bad story. I really wish this show would have a come back on TV or DVD. I'm giving this movie a five star from what I remember when I was 13 and its a very fun B movie.

2-0 out of 5 stars There's One Reason To Spend Your Time Watching This
...her name is Katie Holmes. Breathtakingly beautiful as ever, the makers of 'Disturbing Behavior' must have thrown her in to at least get SOMEthing out of their film. 'Cause there's not much of a story. Or rather, we've seen it all before.

'Disturbing Behavior' is more original than 'The Skulls', on the level of 'The Faculty', but contains, what, one scary scene. 'Scary' is maybe too strong a word.

But go ahead, rent it on a lazy afternoon, and enjoy Katie Holmes' gorgeousness. But do not expect much more from the film.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Movie This Year!
From the beginning to the end this movie is brilliantly written, directed, and acted. It is the only movie I have seen in years that didn't over do the action scenes or ending. With "Titanic" and other movies I felt like the directors actually thought we were stupid to believe some of the stunts that happened. With this movie I was blown away by everything! I hope to see a sequel that is just as good and still keeps out the fake scenes that over do it! I love this movie and I love "Steve" and Katie Holmes. They are perfect. Thanks for such an entertaining movie that doesn't have any fake stupid stunts. I know this couldn't happen in real life, but it such was entertaining! Thanks again!

3-0 out of 5 stars Disturbing Behavior
Disturbing Behavior to me was a typical 90's horror flick. You know the young teens are having chips in there heads to make them smart. I think you should make a second movie. With the same plot but way more scary. So scary people in the theatre's will be jumping out of there seats. O thought the characters in the movie were cool. But you need to add some excitement like you don't know who is involved or something in that sense.

5-0 out of 5 stars This movie far surpasses it "teen horror" counterparts
Disturbing behavior, is an amazing flick with one flaw, it did not get enough publicity. The movie was excellent, it had a great plot, good actors, and the music fit perfectly. I would have to say that this movie beats scream 1 and 2 and I know what you did last summer hands down! ... Read more
