2-0 out of 5 stars TIME RUNNER- (...) Sci-fi Action Adventure Move
The story of the future. Aliens are trying to blow up the world in 2022. Scientists send a space commander back in time after the satellite he occupies is blown up. He ends up in 1992 and learns that is his chance to prevent the alien invasion from happening. What a sorry movie. It is a good idea about a man going back in time to save the future. But I think it is slow happening and spends too much time on details that are not that important. I wish the story had happened quite differently than it did. I have been trying to think up a better story than this ever since I saw this movie on TV. I did think it was amazing how the aliens tried to kill his mother before she had him. Most bad guys would try that to stop a time-traveler from undoing their work. All I've got to say is, if I were the writer of this story, things would have been entirely different. This movie (...) and needs a lot of improvement. Do better than using aliens for the bad guys. And don't make the hero seem so wimpy and always getting wounded.

2-0 out of 5 stars Bad....but amusing
I saw this movie because it had Mark Hamill in it. This movie is forced, poorly plotted, and has ok acting. The only redeeming point was the good music. Save your money and time...don't get or watch this movie!

2-0 out of 5 stars This movie is cute, but far from original
Don't get me wrong, I love Mark Hamill, in fact he's my all time favorite actor, and I thought the movie was cute, but it did nothing to help his career. When he goes back in time to save the human race, is far from original. Sorry, Mark!! Love ya, but this movie is not one I would pay to see in a theatre.

3-0 out of 5 stars ok:not as good as Star Wars
mark hammill is a good actor, but this just isnt his best movie.but i liked it

2-0 out of 5 stars What the heck is this?!
What kind of stupid movie is this? Very bad plot, though the part about Michael Raynor trying to save himself as a baby was good, it isn't original. I hope Mark Hamill got payed well for this one, because it sure didn't help his career (no offence Mark, you're a great actor.) ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars can we say Die Hard rip off
holy shiznay in the pants, this one blows, though Kinski's in it she doesnt save it, but shes hot. its a great, great, great crappy Die Hard tip off as Plummer holds up a skitresort and Griffith(not even close to Willis) is the one man army to take them down. how painstakingly chunky and frunky

1-0 out of 5 stars crackerjack or crackerjerk
This film is awful. I love martial arts and was hoping to find some here. Unfortunately no. Thomas Griffin is a horrible actor. His character in this movie is poorly written - as is the movie itself. Perhaps the only redeeming point of the entire film is christopher plummer as the bad guy. Save your money, there are hundreds of better movies out there, including your neighbors summer vacation movies he's been wanting to show you.

1-0 out of 5 stars A LOW RENT DIEHARD
This movie plays out like a very low-rent Diehard. In this case Thomas Ian Griffith is Bruce Willis, Christopher Plummer is Alan Rickman, and Vladimir Kulich (he's the reason that I bothered to watch this film in the first place) is Alexander Gudonov. Instead of a wife, Griffith's character has a brother, sister-in-law, and their newborn child. Nastasja Kinski, the entertainment director at the hotel, turns into a love interest for Griffith's character. Plummer plays a former mob hitman who assembles a band of mercenaries to take over the mountain-top resort where his former mob boss is staying in order to get his hands on a fortune in diamonds belonging to his former boss. In order to cover up their theft, they intend to bring an entire glacial field down on top of the resort to wipe it out. There is a scene in it where Griffith's character is supposed to be making a menacing threat to Plummer, and I swear, Griffith is smirking his way all the way through it. I think that he should go back to the world of soap operas where he came from and maybe get a little more acting experience. The acting in this movie is ... and the storyline is such a lousy ... of Diehard it's hilarious. This movie isn't just bad; it's R-E-A-L-L-Y B-A-D!!! It's the kind of movie that you want to get together with a group of friends to watch so you can sling insults at the screen. It would be perfect for the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 treatment.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good action film.
This film moves along well and was alot better then I thought it would be. It is about a cop who goes kinda nuts after his wife and kids are killed. He goes on vacation with his brother and his family. While on this vacation some thiefs take everyone hostage except him. He fights them (kills several) and ends up saving the day. I really liked it. ... Read more

I, too, enjoyed this movie mostly because of Vincent Spano. My teens loved the action, and the boys especially liked Kate Vernon. I loved the cast in this movie, although a little corny, but entertaining. Again, Mr. Spano is a most underrated actor.

1-0 out of 5 stars Watched it only for Vincent Spano
One star for story. 100 stars for Vincent Spano. Spano, suave as he always is, did a great job acting...that's about it. The story was too shallow and much too gorey for a Monday night. Everybody, including the good guys, died in the end. Ugh. Special effects were not convincing. I was left confused many times in the movie. Rent/buy/watch if you just like Vincent Spano! ...
