Tempting!
One might think that 'The Temptress' would be a mediocre film, but it is quiet good. The way the film has been shot, it seems like B-grade fare, but don't let that put you off. Kim Delaney does a fantastic job of playing Karen, and Chris Sarandon as Matthew is excellent. It may not be their best acting roles or movies in their career but 'The Temptress is a compelling and interesting film to watch, with a very nice love scene between Chris and Kim, which is a pleasure to watch. Anyone that is curious about this film, give it a chance.

Eye Candy and Mind Candy!
Kim Delaney, always a pleasure to watch, returns from a trip to India during which, without her conscious knowledge, she'd been "inoculated" with the strength of a Hindu female goddess. Among what follows is some pleasant-to-watch erotica. And, of course, a struggle.

It's not of Academy Award caliber; there were two scenes I would expect to see in a "B" movie. The rest, in my opinion, more than makes up for these two scenes.

Given what happened in New York on September 11th and America's response, this movie has a message about violence and non-violence. Don't look for it to be a simplistic message.

Spectacular and very pleasantly erotic movie!
If you are looking for a good movie to watch, then you must find a place to rent this or buy it. Because it will knock your socks off!

Nothing will distract you from the TV while watching.
Temptress was a creative film full of erotic mystisism. "Karen" is an about-face from Kim Delaney's role on NYPD Blue as the reserved Diane Russell. The story development was somewhat predictable and the final resolution at the end was rather quick but the film is full of action that will keep your eyes glued to the TV. One Hot Scene
This otherwise lame video has one hot scene that is too short. She pours milk over body and a guy goes to town with simulated sex. Carmen Electra has one of the all-time best bodies ever. I know they didn't cast her for her acting skills so they should have had her nude a lot more. I bought this to see her nude and felt ripped off. Do yourself a favor and rent it. Then go buy Jennaville or America's Wildest Bachelor Parties to see some real nudity.

Although i love Carmen Electra, I wouldn't ever recommend this film to anyone...
It is what we call, a useless movie! It has nothing to offer and absolutely nothing worth seeing except for the naked body of the sexy protagonist... I own it only because of her, and although i hadn't expected it to be good, it was terrible!! It dissapointed me...

Wow, this is one underappreciated movie that has great acting, nudity, action andSPANISH subtitles!!!!!!

Average late-night cable fare
As a movie destined for 'USA Up All Night' (without any need to edit it for television even),'Legend of the Raven' is dead average. As a movie from the people who brought us 'Sgt. Kabuki Man, NYPD' and the 'Toxic Avenger' flicks, it's a huge dissapointment.

'The Chosen-Legend of the Raven' is the story of a young woman [Carmen Electra] who is chosen by birthright and circumstance to take up her family mantle (represented by a necklace with mystical powers) to become the Raven fight against an Evil that threatens to swallow the world. The film depicts her transformation and her first battle against said evil, manifested in the Wolf [Shauna Sand].

Nice concept, exceedingly bad execution. The script is very nearly devoid of focus, the acting is almost universally bad (Shauna Sand shows some glimmers of talent, or maybe just carries herself with natural intensity... but this is offset by Carmen Electra's thoroughly wooden and amateurish performance), and the fight scenes are as lame as any ever committed to film. There's not even anything remarkable about the camera work or costuming, and there's no humour to speak of. To top it off, the Raven's enemies seem more pathetic than truly threatening.

The only thing I can think of to recommend this film is that it *did* manage to hold my attention. Unlike many other poorly made films the creators here at least had a sense of pacing.

My advice? Pass on this one unless you're the world's biggest Carmen Electra or Shauna Sand fan. If you're looking for a film with woman superheroes, get 'The Heroic Trio' or its sequel 'The Exceutioners.' (The latter is more in line with the tone of 'Legend of the Raven, but is a vastly superior flick.) ... Read more

If you expect Home Alone you are in for a disapointment. Granted - It has the same plot as Home Alone, but that plot came from Die Hard.
