3-0 out of 5 stars Hilarious!!
Yes, I didn't give this 5 stars because it's a tad sick, twisted, and unrealistic and disgustingly gross with how those brothers randomly kill people and use their body parts as food for their diner, but ya' gotta admit, the blood is cool and the movie's so FUNNY!!

Today's date is February 15, 2004. I watched this movie back in '96 or '97 when I was a sophmore or junior in high school so it's now been more than a few years since I last saw it that one and only time, but I remember enough of it.

One part that was really funny was when one of those brothers kept running this big biker guy over back and forth in his van. He wouldn't die! He kept crawling, trying to get away. After like 50 dozen or so attempts of running him over over, he FINALLY dies. All the while this funny 'mambo' music is playing while he's doing it. "Everybody do the mambo, HOOUUUU!" FUNNY!

One very funny but the grossest scene in the whole movie to me was when those Blood Diner brothers shot everyody up in a nude cheerleader video take. And then, with a reciprocating saw, they carve out all those nude women's vaginas??!!!! Sick yet funny!!

All in all, you'd probably like it, but again, it's does get pretty nasty here and there.

5-0 out of 5 stars WATCH IT!
When I was very young I remember renting this movie expecting a very bad movie. Well, it was.. it was horrible. Even though it was horrible I laughed my ass off the ENTIRE movie.

I am not sure what part was funnier. The naked chick who's head falls into the deep fryer, the infamous "van running over human scene" or the talking brain of "Namtut".

If you enjoy cheesy horror in the genre of Evil Dead 2, you definitely should get this. The only down to this actual movie is that it is NOT in DVD format.

This would be the perfect movie for director/star commentary.

GET IT

5-0 out of 5 stars Love the video cant wait for the DVD!

1-0 out of 5 stars Blood Diner is joke (0 stars out of 5) :>(
First of all I rented this because I wanted an 80's Horror movie and came across this unfortunate title(Blood Diner),after reading the cheesy tagline"They Greet You,Then They Eat You" I decided to rent it. I thought this would be just a decent Horror movie with comedic undertones like Return Of The Living Dead movies, which are cheesy but somewhat watchable. Secondly, after viewing the movie I wish I could get my money, even if it was a cheap VHS tape rental for $1.50. This movie is so amatuer it makes Meet The Feebles look brillant, and thats sad. Upon watching the 2 boys digging up their uncle and between his talking brain and the nonexistent plot of trying to resurrect Sheetar, this movie falls flat. I can't forget the pathetic Nude Aerobics class getting shot by a tommy gun and the some of the worst acting period. Finally this movie is a disgrace and gives the Horror genre a bad name or should I say the childish comedy in this movies case. SKIP THIS GARBAGE UNLESS YOU LIKE MEET THE FEEBLES MEETS JACKASS,SKIP THIS AND RENT EITHER A REAL HORROR OR A REAL COMEDY,BECAUSE BLOOD DINER PROVIDE NEITHER. (0 STARS OUT OF 5)

5-0 out of 5 stars FINALLY! "L.A.P.D.! Police run out of control!"
At last, the Citizen Kane of low budget bad taste comedies is on its way to DVD. With an unreal cast including The Unknown Comic, Linda Blair, Pat Paulsen, Andrew Dice Clay, Billy Barty, Pat Morita and others, Night Patrol made history upon its release in 1984 by stretching the boundaries of taste and decency in film comedy to new limits. Dismissed by mainstream critics as a knockoff of Police Academy, the film has survived with a rabid cult following to this day and now comes the news we've been awaiting. Thank you Anchor Bay for continuing to be the #1 cult DVD company anywhere, and keep up the great work!

5-0 out of 5 stars The most gloriously politically incorrect comedy ever made
OK, so this movie is definitely not for everyone. It's rude, crude, and offensive, but, taken at the level of a guilty pleasure, it must be considered some kind of a classic. This film aims not so much below the belt, but more like straight towards the gutter. It's targets include gays, women, minorities, police, and almost every other group imaginable. Now that you've been warned, those who are not easily offended will most likely laugh their lips off at everything from the oft-repeated theme song("LAPD"), to the I-can't-believe-these-people-are-in-it cast, which includes "Gong Show" alumni such as Jaye P. Morgan and The Unknown Comic to faded names like Pat Paulsen and Linda Blair to actual stars like Pat Morita (in one of the most surreal scenes ever) and Andrew Dice Clay. More importantly, especially in the post-Rodney King era, it paints LA cops as degenerates who get high with the drug dealers they should be busting and blithely shooting innocent bystanders like its no big deal. All in all, not to be missed for fans of bad taste.

5-0 out of 5 stars "L.A.P.D! Police run out of control!"
Finally, the Citizen Kane of low budget bad taste comedies is on its way to DVD. Featuring an amazing cast including The Unknown Comic, Linda Blair, Pat Paulsen, Andrew Dice Clay, Billy Barty, and Pat Morita(as "Rape Victim"), this film made history upon its release in 1984 by pushing the standards and boundaries of bad taste in film comedy to new limits. Thank you Anchor Bay for continuing to be the number one Cult DVD studio in the world and keep up the great work!"

5-0 out of 5 stars I saw this at the show when it came out .
It was a late show. I was tired so maybe thats why the jokes were funny. But I saw this on cable about 5 year later and it was still funny. "The Dice Man" has a bit part and his jokes are so bad there good. Billy Barty (one of the munchkins) is the police chief who lies, farts and vows to drive all the hookers out of town (in his car)! It was low budget but nobody took it seriously maybe that's why is wasen't offensive (like so many of the new supposedly "funny movies" of today)

4-0 out of 5 stars You either LOVE it or Hate it
I Saw this when I was 11, now as an adult Im laughing even more! ITs a low-budget sheesy film that Very well made in its format... Several parts had me laughin out loud and it seems to have a cult following... I wonder if PAt Morita has this movie in his resume? lol The cast seemd to have fun and if a dvd of this movie exists..I WANT IT! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars BECKY LEBEAU IS FINE!
Great movie! I especially love the scene where the beautiful
Becky LeBeau gets completely naked and starts humping that
alligator float. It doesn't get much hotter than this and
it's a scene you will want to watch over and over again,
I know i have! Great acting from everybody in the movie,
even if the plot is rather uneventful and pointless.
If you're a fan of those typical 80's movies, this
is one you have to see, especially that scene with
Becky LeBeau. Believe me, you won't be dissapointed!
In conclusion, I hope that my review has helped you and
that more people will see this movie and write about it. ... Read more
