This VHS, will have the last four episodes of Time Force: A Calm Before the Storm and The End of Time Parts 1 thru 3. The storyline to bring Time Force to a close was very well-written and well played out by the team. Erin Cahill (Jen, the Pink Ranger), really shines in the three part finale as she takes control of her own destiny to go back and help Wes. If you are a Power Rangers fan -- get this video. If you are a former fan wanting to see how good Power Rangers has gotten since the days of Mighty Morphin' check this video out.
1) A CALM BEFORE THE STORM: 2) END OF TIME PT. 1,2,3
A CALM BEFORE THE STORM THE END OF TIME, PARTS 1-3 Although the finale of Power Rangers Time Force was excellent in the beginning and then started to go downhill, it's still memorable. I would recommend this to any Power Rangers fan.
Calm before the Storm End of Time 1-3 Time Force was probably one of the worst seasons ever. Don't let the reviews fool you. People had high hopes for this when it was promoted, and when people realized how much it stunk, they still kept their reviews high for it so that they did not look like idiots. Deep down, you know they're disappointed. If you want a *good* season, check out Power Rangers in Space, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, or Power Rangers Wild Force.
The plot, which runs cohesively throughout, is about Frax (who betrayed Ransik in the latter episodes) plotting to overthrow the Time Force Rangers (Jason Faunt, Deborah Estelle Philips, Erin Cahill, Kevin Kleinberg, Michael Copon, and Daniel Southworth) and his former master Ransik by creating a massive robot. Meanwhile, Ransik's daughter, Nadira (Kate Sheldon) has second thoughts about hating humans. After helping to deliver a baby and playing with a couple of kids, she realizes that she's one of them... as well as her father, Ransik. What follows is an emotion-packed powerhouse, helped by equal doses of acting between Erin Cahill's fierce portrayal of Jen and the man she has grown to love during her visit in the year 2001, Wes Collins (Jason Faunt, who does more than a successful transition from baseball player/model to TV actor). The ending is sweet and powerfully emotional. It certainly isn't up to par with the beautiful finale of "Power Rangers in Space"'s 'Countdown to Destruction,' parts 1-2; but it comes very, VERY close to at times. What makes the final 4 episodes ('Calm Before the Storm' and 'The End of Time' pts. 1-3 edited together) much better than they were in separate episode forms is that it plays more like a movie rather than a 4-part episode. It makes it all the more powerful, satisfying and engrossing to watch. If you hated all the shows after "Mighty Morphin'" through "Power Rangers In Space", this will make you think that the Ranger franchise has gotten better, not worse, with time. ... Read more

Now what? First they were the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (everyone knows who they were), then they transformed into Zeo, shifted into turbo, conquered space, forged through lost galaxies, and traveled at the spped of light to the rescue. Now, there'll be "Time Force" like, next month, but I don't think it'll be any more fun than Lost Galaxy may have been. Power Rangers in Space (1998) was SO much better than that. What the heck....it's 2001 and with the Digimon garnering high ratings on Nielsen like mad (yet their movie wasn't very successful either), what WILL be these guys' future? I guess there won't be no future for them now that they're no longer #1. Even the mystic knights of tir na nog were never the popular warriors the PR were. I don't care anymore. It's only a TV show.
When Power Rangers:Lost Galaxy debuted in 1999, it had a diferent look. It seemed more mature. Yes, the flash and extreme pacing of action was still there, but a sense of a more adult storyline followed suit. Decent storytelling along with a semi-solid science-fiction background, caused this series to be quite enjoyable. In short, this version of the series finaly forced a seven year franchise to grow up a little. With a little open-mindness, adults might discover this tape/series to be a very enjoyable guilty pleasure for themselves and kids alike ... Read more

That's when Flabber and Art Fortunes come together, and decide to create a temporary Beetleborg to even the odds, making a rival of Drew's that's competiting for Heather's heart, namely Josh, into the White Blaster Borg. More plot twists ensue, but I won't reveal the end. It's good, and I don't want to disappoint it. Despite being somewhat corny, Beetleborgs are a good kids' show, despite not running anymore, but worth watching on VHS.

The origins of this show goes way back over 27 years ago, as it is known in Japan as Sentai. The Sentai show that the power rangers ripped off in 1993 is known as zyuranger sentai which debuted in Japan several years earlier. The difference between Sentai and power rangers is that at least sentai is watchable, although barely. The characters in the Sentai series weren't silly teenagers, but rather, true martial art superheroes who could transform themselves into Dinosaurs when necessary. The show was also geared for an older audience. In the summer of 1993, a kid's television producer from America decided to bring the Sentai show to the U.S., albeit with awful, silly teenagers, rather than true martial artists superheros. After my nephew begged me to watch a t.v. show about karate chopping heroes who wear silly, muilti colored leotards who change into dinosaurs, I knew I had to see this, because, as I guessed it, it was ripped off directly from Japan's long running Sentai series. The power rangers are completely ridiculous, (A couple of them can't even fight, they just do these silly gymnastics!) as opposed to the Zyurangers who are true martial artists. The toyline is awful, (looking like third rate Gundam robot toys, while the power rangers look like the same clowns in different colors, with these heads that flip back and forth!) and thank goodness that my nephew, as well as millions of other children have outgrown the idiotcy of them. Can you believe that this awful show was made into a movie back in 1995? All I can say for fans of this ridiculous show and for those who feel compelled to stick up for it, is this, watch the Japanese Sentai Zyurangers and you'll see how much better they are over the really irritating american power rangers television show is! Thank goodness, both the American power rangers television show and the toyline has long faded from our exsistence!

Featuring the pilot episode of "Day of the Dumpster," this "Power Playback" edition shows how something unique and different can cause a worldwide phenomenon and can start a chain reaction of relentless success until this very day, 10 years after "Day of the Dumpster" premiered. In short, this video is a must-have if you're not a mindless drone to society's bias standard of "what's good."

RANGERS GONE PSYCHO Five imposters are wreaking havok throughout Angel Grove as Power Rangers. The real Rangers confront them, and they reveal themselves to be the Psycho Rangers, maniacal machines sent by Astronema. The Psychos read the Rangers' minds, and prove to be difficult to defeat with this knowledge of the Rangers' fighting techniques. A RIFT IN THE RANGERS Ashley and Cassie have a quarrel over doing chores on the Megaship. Psycho Yellow and Pink manage to capture Ashley. FIVE OF A KIND TJ comes up with a way to defeat the Psycho Rangers. Since they are designed to fight their respective Ranger color, the Rangers all disguise themselves as the Blue Ranger, and to confuse them even further, Zhane jumps in as Psycho Silver. SILENCE IS GOLDEN The Psycho Rangers scour the city in search of the civilian Rangers, using voice recognition. Cassie is in town, and must remain quiet to avoid being found. THE ENEMY WITHIN The Psycho Rangers have stolen the Mega Voyager. To get it back, the Power Rangers launch a surprise attack on the Psychos.
I like the video, it's just it would have better if they had tried to at least make a miniseries on Fox or make it into a made-for-TV movie. PRiS is actually a great series, it's just that the Psycho series isn't actually the episodes that would be worth editing and composing into a feature-length "movie." The plot itself is intriguing and semi-original, the acting is terrific, but actually, the first two to three episodes would be worth editing or even better, the last three episodes of "Countdown to Destruction." It wraps up things more fully and is a welcome relief to the usual end to a seasonal PR series. If you like PRiS, this movie is for you. If you're a PRiS fan who actually thinks this is a full-length movie, better pass this up. ... Read more
