Wonderful Family Entertainment
Our Family has enjoyed Five Mile Creek over and over again. This is a must see movie for all ages. As usual a Disney Great. A wholesome movie that the entire family can enjoy together. The producers need to begin printing again so anyone who has not seen it can. Five Mile Creek is full of adventure, the story is full of lifes lessons, happiness, tragedy, and irony. After just one episode, your'e hooked and can't wait to see the next. Everyone will enjoy this movie.

!BEST SERIES EVER!
A few years ago my family and I rented these videos one by one. I was probably 10yrs old then. My favorite character was and still is Con Madigan. We all loved Five Mile Creek. Now, we are watching them all again. They are still one of the best shows possible to watch on a TV. We own them all now. They are always going to be the best.

Great! I would recommend them to everyone.
I have enjoyed every single volumn that I have been able to purchase. I watch them over and over and over. I have the first 15 volumns and would love to purchase the last 5 volumns. I can't understand why they haven't re-released them so that we can get and enjoy the whole set. Best tapes for the whole family to enjoy.

Tremendous family entertainment
We have seen all 20 volumes of the Five Mile Creek Series. You can't help but feel you're there in the Australian Outback and a part of the Five Mile Family. You never want it to end. I encourage all my friends to rent the videos and make it a point to watch the whole set every year. In my opinion, this series is Disney at it's best.

Excellent family series
We have seen the entire series and own volumes 1-15. We would love tofind 16-20 also. This series is a keeper.

Currently own 1-5; am trying to locate and purchase volumes 6-20...have never seen 16-20 yet - but based on everyone's reviews - sounds like I need to see them. Revel in Rebel
You might initially avoid this movie, but if you are looking for a feel-good love story, then try it. Set during WW2 in Sydney, Australia, Matt Dillon plays the romantic lead, and although this certainly doesn't rank as his best work, overall he gives an endearing performance, and is handsome as an American GI who wants to get home! Deborah Byrne, an Australian stage actress, plays a night club singer, and is cast opposite Dillon as his love interest. Bryan Brown (from Thorn Birds fame) is great in his supporting role, invoking no sympathy at all for his character. This is not a musical, rather it's a film with music, and although the songs are slightly too contemporary for their 1940's setting, they actually add to the depth of the movie. They are well choreographed and add to the developing love story. It deserves its R rating, with some nudity and suggested sex, but its tame by todays standards. After watching Rebel for the first time, I was hooked by the simple storyline, the well crafted songs and Matt Dillon's eyebrows! I watch it now whenever I want to go "aaaah, that was nice!" WONDERFUL, PLEASANT, EASY TO WATCH
This is a very enjoyable movie, no sex, no violence. It's a pleasure to see a movie like this.

Bryan Brown is conman Harry Reynolds who travels to a small Australian beach town with plans to scam the residents. However, his plans change when another conman comes to town and Harry becomes involved with a small boy and his mother.

The relationship between the boy and Harry is what makes this movie special.

This movie may be predictable but it is, nontheless, very pleasant to watch. Beautiful scenery and good acting.

Thoroughly enjoyable and charming film!
I was surprised into watching this film one night a few years ago, and am VERY glad I did! Bryan Brown is as robust and clever as always, and the doe-eyed, strong-minded Karen Allen is a perfect foil/love interest for Brown's "Harold Hill"-esque con-man. In fact, this film is quite like The Music Man in many ways, albeit without the music! Brown's scam-artist intends to milk a small coastal town out of it's hard-earned money, but has a change of plans when Allen and her son find their way into his heart. There's comedy and light drama here, and the entire cast seems well suited to the script and storyline. In all, this is a charming film, and if a little predictability can be endured, it will be sure to satisfy.

Very enjoyable, but predictable
It was an enjoyable movie to watch, but a bit predictable. I think too, that the ending was a cop-out, (the son finding the "article" on the beach towards the end). More time and thought should have occurred in the writing. If more effort had been exerted in the writing of the story line -- this movie would have been as good as LOCAL HERO (with Peter Reigert and Burt Lancaster). But hey, I can't complain. It's a refreshing flick.

Emotional at times, well acted, beautiful Aussie scenery
What a very pleasant surprise to be able to sit down with your family, and watch a most surprising video. Bryan Brown is the usual larrikan he can be. Karen Allen, the cute, bubbly girl next door, and Justin Rosniak. what a find he has been. This child will go a long way in a very fickle industry. Whomever may have cast this young boy, certainly receives top honours. He us extremely professional, and a charming little Aussie. I look forward to Justin Rosniaks next movie................Great viewing

PLEASANT-EASY TO WATCH WITH GOOD ACTING
This is a very pleasant comedy about a con man (Brown) who goes to a small town expecting to scam the residents. Instead, he falls in love with the town and the people and ends up protecting them from another scam artist. Very nice scenery with good acting from Brown, as usual, and others.
