5-0 out of 5 stars A mind-blower!
What a trip! This one's got more twists and turns than the autobahn. Starts off as a rip-off of "Three Days of the Condor," then goes off on its own far-out tangent and becomes immensely entertaining! Stick with it, and enjoy! Watch out for that twist ending!

4-0 out of 5 stars At times, a hilarious action-packed movie.
I picked up this unknown on a whim and ended up enjoying it. If you are into conspiracy theories and governmental covert organizations, then this movie is for you. However, I must add that the latter part of the movie (which was full of action) was no match for the beginning. Watch for yourself and put in a review to let me know what you think about it ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Norton's Villain Flies High!
When Michael Dudikoff's hero in "Black Thunder" asks Richard Norton's turncoat why he's in the middle of a hijack and ransom
scheme for a zealously guarded fighter jet, Norton simply replies, "Getting rich." Versatile actor Norton delivers the line so craftily, and so convincingly, that no audience of "Black
Thunder" will ever second-guess this bad guy's motivation. As
Dudikoff's prey, Norton delivers a portrayal of the treasonous "Ratcher" (great baddie name)that lifts this plane chase movie off terra firma and out of the "formulaic action picture" category. Top marks for this fast paced movie with thanks to actor Richard Norton!

"Black Thunder" is one of Michael Dudikoff's best films. This is what action films should be: just straight, all-out action without a lot of doppy romantic scenes and excessive language. 2-0 out of 5 stars Review by an actor in the film - Jim Scholl
My name is Steven Scholl althought I am credited on the film as "Jim Scholl". While this film definitely belongs with the "B" movies I look at it as a good "Cheesy" movie. It has all the necessary requirements for being "Cheesy". It has named stars featured as well as a few unknowns, myself include, and it has action that is more style than substance. I would say that it although it is a "Cheesy" movie it was a lot of fun to make and the people involved were great. I love it because it is so bad. You need an appreciation of Roger Corman's work to get into this one and I am a big fan of Roger's and a student of his collections. If you get a chance to see it, look for the gun battle scene in the hospital. I am the guard who can't hit the side of a barn but I can dodge bullets like nobody's business. Enjoy!

1-0 out of 5 stars Possibly worth a 99 cent 5 day rental...
This a very low budget film set in a space ship with 8 crew searching for a new planet for humans to move to. Earth in bad shape with greenhouse warming and war looming. Crew awakes from hyper-sleep after 100 years under (as is family at home). Captian is dead. More deaths follow. Where these all accidents or is there a killer among them. Very low budget, basically only the sets on the ship. Soundtrack unexciting. Two seperate scenes of nude characters make rating R. No swearing that I remember. No sex scenes either. No pubic hair. Steals ideas from several big screen movies any sci-fi fan will have seen. If its on commercial TV, probably not worth watching. Slightly better than "BATS", "ATTACK OF KILLER TOMATOES" and "ARRIVAL II"...

2-0 out of 5 stars Quirky and yawny
This is a sort of Ten Little Indians set in space (a very overused plot engine). Naturally, the astronauts disappear one by one leading to a "climatic" ending sequence, which will show you that you have just wasted a portion of your lives. The sets, the acting, the plot, everything is very, very tired, redundant, and surprisingly turgid for the nightmare this is. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Now that's what I call kickboxing
Here comes the latest of the DIE HARD knock offs, only this is one of the good ones. Don "The Dragon" is Nick Corrigan, a military courier who was demoted for the wrong reasons and who packs a mean punch. He's on his way to a U.S. nuclear missile launch site at the same time when terrorists have shown up and taken control. Led by the charismatic "Party of Allah" Arab terrorist Fawkes (Jonathan Fuller), they have made demands for $100 million or they'll start shooting nukes at U.S. cities. Of course, their bad guys, and even if they get their money, they'll still shoot an ICBM at NYC. Corrigan shows up to try to stop them, using his martial arts skills to get the job done. As I said, this is one of our DIE HARD knock offs, but as I also said, this one of the good ones;in fact, it's one of the best, with more kung fu fighting and cooler sets than most of the others. Don "The Dragon" clearly is a world champion and, like I've said before in my reviews, is not as bad an actor as most other critics peg him as. Each and every one of the BLOODFIST films should've made it to theatres, not just the first three. I'm still debating with myself over whether GROUND ZERO or DIE TRYING are the best in the series, but I suppose it doesn't matter. As long as Don "The Dragon" can still carry a action film on his pinky their kick [boo-te] kung fu flicks.

5-0 out of 5 stars Don "The Dragon" Wilson is a one man army!
The lead character in this movie shows that one person can make a difference against any odds.A character that stands out due to the talent of Don "The Dragon" Wilson. I have watched this movie over & over again. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Baywatch- The Wonderful World of Bikinis
I watched the show and never really liked it that much. But I enjoyed seeing all the women running around in their red sexy swimsuits. David Hasselholff was a pretty cool guy though. I heard a rumor hs character was killed off in the final episode. But nothing can be more fantastic than seeing an erotic scene of babes runnig around on the beach calling attention with their bikinis. I have never seen this movie, but I assumeI know some about it due to what I had seen on the show. Th plots for the story were very stupid, but women in swimsuits were excitement for me. If they showed them enough, I was satisfied. Big Time!

5-0 out of 5 stars I want David Hasslehoff

3-0 out of 5 stars If you like Baywatch...
then you'll like this movie. It's feels more like an extra long episode than a movie. Other than some extended montages, it's really nothing special. I don't know what movie these other reviewers were watching, but it wasn't this one! There's no dream sequence (at least not that I remember) and Pamela Anderson is not even in the movie.

4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome plot!
Hasselhoff has a dream sequence that stages the plot for one of the intelligent scripts I have ever seen. END

4-0 out of 5 stars A great movie.
Lots of action and spooky scenes. Palema Lee and Bob Aboui make a dangerous stunt at the top of a building that is unbelievable. Mookie Wilson from PBS's Mystery makes a strange guest appearence. Lots of fun. END ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Good. Peters out towards the end.
Jack Cutter (Don Wilson), is the son of a vampire hunter. When his parents are killed, Jack inherits a book which lists the remaining vampire bloodlines. Jack must kill the remaining vampires before before they get a chance to reproduce. Sound like your typical vampire plot? Yep, but, okay I actually LIKED Night Hunter. I expected it to be just another cheesy martial arts flick, but instead, there was actually a fairly decent plot line. Don Wilson was good as the flawed, and lonely Jack Cutter. The vampires themselves were good-looking bunch (not the skinny white nosferatu type), with actual motivation (a desire to breed), and some fairly decent acting on all parts. I was rather pleased by the cast selection. Usually in less expensive films, the vampires are ugly to make the hero look good!

Towards the end, this flick petered out a bit, and became one endless fight scene, which had me knocking off a star. There was also a few thinly veiled S&M catfight scene between the main heroine and the lesbian vampire which seemed to be added to tittilate the audience. YAWN. (Must this happen to the heroine in EVERY vampire movie?) Still, this was a worthy vampire flick, worth viewing. (Although I could wish for a little bit more exploration into the lives of the vampires and the vampire King's love for the French woman).

Worth seeing, for some decent character development early on and a cast of good-looking vampires. Ultimately disappointing because of its uninspired ending.

2-0 out of 5 stars About as smart as hunting at night.
Not much Maria Ford. She does some kind of accent which is cute.
They shake the camera every time theres a fight. Should have had a lot more Maria. For those who don't know Maria ford might have the best legs in the world.

2-0 out of 5 stars Hysterical!
My favorite scene involves Don "The Dragon" Wilson walking into a swanky restaurant and having a martial arts brawl rich, snooty vampires...all while Southwestern music plays on the soundtrack. Priceless!

5-0 out of 5 stars well in the running for the worst Vampire movie ever made
I know the stars and the Title don't match but this is a great movie. My friends and I rented this movie and laughed the whole way through. Trust me you'll want this movie after you watch it just so you can show everyone out there that a movie htis bad really does exist.

4-0 out of 5 stars BEAUTY & THE BEAST meets BLADE!
Kick boxing champ Don "The Dragon" Wilson is the last of the vampire hunters, a tortured soul who spends his life breaking necks and driving wooden stakes through people's hearts. In Los Angeles, the heads of all of vampire families are meeting to discuss their plan to put the bite on the city. Wilson has to stop them! His only help comes from a sexy National Enquierer reporter played by that girl who made out with SEINFELD durring SHINDLER'S LIST. Cool action, funny lines, and a character you can really care about. I read about this movie in The Washington Post! ... Read more

This movie was a definite thriller, and because we're living in the 20th century, this movie was believable since it dealt with cheating internet style. I had never heard of this movie and was quite surprised at the great performances by two actors i'd never seen/heard of before.
