god this movie was good
As in most of these reviews, i was flipping through the channels in the middle of the night, not really enjoying a free month of showtime that our dish network provided us, when i stumbled on this movie. it was about 15 minutes into it. once i started watching it, i couldn't stop. this movie changed me. it takes a lot for a movie to make me feel anything, but Sweet Jane cut through. Plus, the cliched junkie story was very interesting. What really sticks in my mind, however, is the final scene... i'm actually afraid to watch it again, wondering if that first high i got from Sweet Jane can be repeated.

Truthful, beautiful, memorable.
I caught Sweet Jane as a midnight movie, as I'm assuming is the norm. This movie was haunting. The high of love, the high of heroin, the low of death, and the low of addiction all play combatting roles in this movie. If you're in for a tear-inducing depressing, but still wonderful film, watch Sweet Jane.

Brilliant spectacle, the reason I love midnight movies
As some other reviewers, I was up late channel surfing when I came across something about a hooker being followed around by the kid from Dazed and Confused so naturally, I was intrigued. This, as well as other great midnight movies that show on Showtime, Cinemax and sometimes HBO, are the reason I even turn on the tv (save for the Simpsons and Star Trek). If you see one movie that isn't glorified by explosions and shiny things, DEFINITLY make it this one. It's a bit odd, but if you can stomach the dark look on the underbelly of society, you'll find one of the best films you've ever seen.

Best movie i've ever seen
I couldn't sleep tonight, so around 1:00 am i started flipping through some channels, and i see "sweet jane" on, it looked somewhat interesting...

I became so enthralled in it, i didn't get up to pee (which i had to do quite badly), and i told my aunt to shut up several times.

By far, the best movie i've seen in a long time (if not ever)

Needless to say, i rushed onto amazon.com to buy it so i can watch it again.

Shockingly Beautiful

this movie sucked if you see it on Sci-Fi TURN IT!
is it just me or was this the biggest load of crap I've ever seen? Ok they find this injured guy and they put him in a top secret place. This jackass lets him loose and thats it. I only saw this movie because I am a fan of Giovanni Ribisi. If you wanna be scared by a good horror film rent one of the texas chainsaw massacre movies or Friday the 13th movies. because all the monster is is a bald man with blue sweatpants who yells alot. The only scary thing here is the films budget.

Very surprising DTV horror flick , a lot of praise
I was extremely surprised at the high quality of this DTV (direct to video)horror flick.At first glance,I could almost guarantee myself I was not going to like it,especially having seen another similar awful film called The Fear recently.But then again,with a title that stupid,of course I was going to feel inclined to turn away.I mean it,what a stupid title,The Mind Ripper!Anyone who saw it with a title like that would instantly dismiss it as cheap pap.If they had given it the title The Outpost like over in America,I think a lot more people would have given this extremely pleasantly surprising little flick a chance.The story is original,well thought out,with characters you can really care about.It's amazing how much you end up feeling for the brother character,especially towards the end where he breaks down in tears while admitting his feelings to his sister.The monster is very impressive for the no doubt small budget the film had,and the running time is well adjusted at just over an hour and a half.If you come across this,please don't be put off by that stupid title,give it a chance,it's really worth seeing.

Hmmmmm?
I found this film a bit boring to be honest and although Wes Craven had a little involvement, it was his son who produced this film. The whole thing was like ALIEN because of the environment and the acting was not all that good except for Lance Henriksen who has starred in so many top movies. MIND RIPPER is a film that I could'nt watch more than twice and a lot of people may find it a complete bore, but still, the F/X/ are not too bad.

Mindripper- A very good movie with a very good actor
As I saw the movie "Mindripper", I was very surprised, that an actor can so good act the role of Thor. I think, Dan Blom was the very exact actor, who could acted the Thor. And I'm the opinion, it was not easy to act such a role. In my opinion, it was the best movie I saw.
