Billy Zane is sooooooooooo hot!!!!
Lake Consequence was the perfect opportunity for the actor, Billy Zane, to display his amazing acting talent. He is phenominal as Joan Severance's gardener...the way he trims her trees is so skillfull!! He is also in amazing physical shape. He must work-out, like, a lot-n-stuff. I would love to have a poster from this movie. I could stare at it for hours.

Billy Zane is the absolute sexiest man to ever live.
This movie is where I first saw Billy Zane. It is the most erotic movie I have ever seen. I loved the amazing attraction between Billy and Joan. It was an exciting ride from beginning to end. Billy Zane is absolutely devine!!!

This erotic drama is a keeper. It definitely appeals to the senses. Hot steaming chinese baths, firecrackers. Passion, passion, passion all around. You will love it. Never thought acupunture could look so exhilirating. Billy Zane -- whoo, baby! Wonderfully sexy film.

Joan Severance is delicious
I would say this is Joan Severance's best movie. Since appearing in small roles in See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Bird on a Wire, she has been relegated to B-movie erotica, but she has given it her best. She truly is an exquisite creature, with mesmerizing blue eyes and an incredible body.
She is perfect as the sexually repressed housewife who stumbles into a sexual liaison with her gardener, played by Billy Zane, and his sometime lover May Karasun. Like others have said, the photography at the lake in the movie is stunning and adds tremendously to its sensual appeal.
The movie takes a downturn into negativity with the revelations about the Severance character's painful past, at which point the sensuality is abruptly cut off. Talk about coitus interruptus! But it is still a captivating, memorable movie.

A womans mind
If ever there was a movie that explained a woman's mind this would be it. Women are portrayed so often as solid creatures that know exactly what they want. The men are always the ones who are confused and stray. What I think is important here is how this movie explains what goes on in a woman's mind. What a woman must sacrifice Women are sensual creatures by nature, and as Billy pointed out near the end "real life and romance do not generally go hand in hand". A QUANDARY FOR MS. SIEMASZKO
The lovely Nina Siemaszko is faced with the quandary of choosing between two adept lovers, the suave continental Phillipe or a wholesome all American type who is just a delivery boy to the office where she works. However, the latter does get her into an elevator where he shows her, to her delight, just how adept he is. Phillipe, though, is no fool and can make her wiggle with delight in bed too. Plenty of nipple kissing and simulated sex here. She resolves the quandry by dumping both. I would suggest that another solution would be to have her engage in what the adult film industry calls a DP.

I've been into this Red Shoe-concept since its inception, mostly due to the presence of David Duchovny, so I've viewed a good many of these segments. The segment involving Richard Tyson is absolutely a breed apart from most anything I've seen in the soft-core category. Maybe all that means is that I've led a sheltered life. In any case, I've (watched ...) this video more than once, and I strongly encourage others to view it as well.

EXCELLENT SOFT CORE FILM
An excellent soft core film from the Showtime Red Shoe Diaries series, not all of which are on video. High production values and a pretty good plot. It's always a pleasure to see Nina Siemaszko, a very beautiful and sexy woman, in action. I recently saw her in "Sinatra" where she does a pretty good job portraying Mia Farrow, one of Sinatra's wives.

WOW!
David Duchovny hosts three more episodes of the popular adult series. Contains the episodes: "The Psychiatrist," "Four on the Floor," and "Emily's Dance."

Segment: "The Psychiatrist." Linda, the client played by Demetra Hampton (Valentina [1988]), picks up men on trains and in hotel bars and accepts money for various active and passive sex acts but contends that it's the psychiatrist with the problem. Linda asserts, "You sit there in your big chair and listen but you feel nothing." The "Psychiatrist" (Denise Crosby) writes to Red Shoes lamenting, "Whom does he psychiatrist talk to?" (Actually, the role looks more like that of a psychologist, because she seems to rely on logo therapy rather than drugs.) The Psychiatrist goes to the hotel bar and hooks up with the same man (Georges Corraface) replicating the experience of Linda. On "The Man's" prompts, she progressively removes items of her clothing, accepting various amounts of money for each garment. But eventually she turns the tables on him by demanding that he touch her. Has she gotten in over her head or can she manage a real relationship with him? Segment: "Four on the Floor." An old movie featuring two couples who engage in group sex while on a vacation far from home serves as the inspiration for the story. The Red Shoes correspondent (Rachel Palmieri, I think) reports having seen the movie during a break from final exams preparations at college. Later, when she and her lover are involved in a car accident while on a double date with their best friends, they have to take shelter from the rain in an old abandoned building. Of course, they must all remove their rain-soaked clothing and huddle together to keep warm. Is history (as told in the movie) about to repeat itself? Segment: "Emily's Dance." Emily (Kent Masters King) is an aspiring dancer. Her technique is excellent and the film makers like her looks, but she can't let herself "get into" her performance. She gets a tryout on a project directed by Zalman King (Himself), who is assisted by Ashley Lowengrub (Herself) and which is choreographed by Tony Ciulla (Himself). Freedom Williams is the lead male dancer who also coughs up the rap stuff in the background. He sees her talent and tries to push her over the line where she will finally be free to express herself through her dance. Will he succeed or just break her spirit?...

The one I have, I like the first story best with Denise Crosby from Star Trek Next Generation. She plays a psychiatrist and mimics her patient's wild adventure, except she is better. It is called The Psychiatrist. The next one is called Four on the Floor like the title, it is sexy, but as the other reviewer stated these are soft porn. The last one is Emily's Dance, it is really sexy dancing. The first story is the best. I was going to put it up for sale here, but since it has a different box, I will put it up in auctions with a picture.

My Review
This is one of the best porno movies that i have ever purchased it has some of the best details. And the picture is so CLEAR. The movie has some of the hottest girls I have yet to see in a movie. The one thing i didn't like about this movie is their wasn't enough hardcore. It was just a lot of softcore. I would strongly recemend this movie if you are into softcore, but i would look for something else if you want hardcore. ... Read more

One of the most Beautiful Red Shoe Diaries you will find!
The first story is an Olympic Swimmer and a lifeguard, beautiful underwater photography and a lot of it. Most of the half hour was underwater, total body nudity. The second story involved a lot of skydiving. I hadn't seen the man with the large tatoo in the first story but he is in the second. I imagine making love on parachute silks would be fairly erotic. You know what you're getting with Zalman King.
Number 7 in the "Red Shoe Diaries" series features the following three segments:

"Runway" - This is the only segment which is even mildly interesting (which isn't saying much). A model is feeling sorry for herself because she is unhappy with her profession. She only does it for the money and considers herself a "whore". A taxi driver drives the model home and carries her bags up for her. She offers him a wad of cash to partially dress up like a woman. She takes pictures of him and then they make love. Odd.

"Kidnap" - Two brothers, (one of them Matt LeBlanc), rob a bank in the city. They then try to make their getaway on horseback(!). However, one of the brothers stops to talk to a beautiful woman and the police eventually arrive. The robbers take her hostage and whisk her away to the countryside. The woman and one of the brothers end up getting married. Another odd one...but this segment is silly and boring.

"Burning Up" - A woman becomes obsessed with firemen. Her actions become more and more questionable until she does something quite strange toward the end. That's about it.

I have never seen a "Red Shoe Diaries" series that I truly enjoyed. This one continues in that tradition.

Yawn
Hardly erotic, no character development, and pretty timid sex. Not what I would call an erotic masterpiece, or even good entertainment.

Most of it was very Hot
All three stories were very erotic,the best one being the third one with aphrodities from the hercules series.

A Luscious Erotic Escapade in the Grand Red Shoes Tradition
This is my favorite of the Red Shoe Diaries series. The stunning cinematography and intense exploration of erotic desire that has made this series popular is very evident in this video. "Runway" is the story of a disillusioned model that finds fulfillment and excitement from an exotically handsome taxi driver that acts as her model in an impromptu photo shoot. The realistic portrayal of the viscous and hollow world of fashion is an added treat here. "Kidnap" is the tale of a sexy urbanite that gets plucked out of her daily existence by a rugged thief who awakens her desires. "Burning Up" is my favorite of the three episodes--it's about a lonely woman who is infatuated with a mysterious and gorgeous fireman. The fire theme is carried throughout the episode with exquisite skillfulness. Her desire for him is very much like fire, and many of us can identify with her burning, relentless desire. The beautiful cast, sumptuous cinematography and soundtrack, and intense, unbridled sensuality make this video a must-see for those who are not afraid to explore their most intimate desires. ... A dangerous game, a delicious cake, and a family feud
Okay, I'm going to be a little bias on critiquing this DVD. This is because I am the writer of the story of one of the three episodes on this DVD.

This DVD consists of the Red Shoe Diaries episodes: The Game, The Cake, and Like Father Like Son.

'The Game' is about a woman who broke herself free of a relationship that was based on a sexual 'truth or dare' style game. This episode is for the "no holds barred" type of lovers out there.

'The Cake' is the episode I wrote the story for. It's about a woman who can't decide on a birthday cake at a bakery for her husband. The baker gets an idea to decorate her as the birthday cake. The results? You'll have to see for yourself. :) This episode is for anyone curious to try new things.

'Like Father Like Son' is about a man infatuated with his father's lover. She, at first, thinks of him as just a boy but thinks otherwise later and has to decide between the two.

Kinda nice, but mixed
This consists of three shorts, "Forbidden Zone," "The Art of Loneliness," and "Picnic". The first, FB, was a story within a story, where the video switched back and forth between the couple and the scene from her imagination. I liked it - the female leads were gorgeous, and the imagined scene had an iconic quality. The second story, TAL, featured a woman narrating her fantasies. There was conversation, of a sort, where the other would step into the narration for a little while. The scene, the characters, and the story-telling all had a dusky elegance. In the end, though, the narrator was alone with her story. The third short, Picnic, reminded me why I like compilations - the other stories suited me, even if that one didn't.

This isn't the steamiest collection around, but the first two stories each set an agreeable mood. I could imagine moving either story forward on my own, given a willing partner. These stories weren't especially memorable. They were well done, in a low-key way, and I'll come back when my mood matches their understated sensuality.

Red Shoe Diaries 18 -- Strip Poker

Being repetitive, because in some respects the same can be said of every Red Shoe Diaries story, if you want eye-candy alone go elsewhere and enjoy. If you want eye-candy (always), mind-candy (often), skilled actors (always) and easy-to-hear music, try one. Then try to stay out of bed.

In Strip Poker, a woman who's out of touch with herself and with life becomes a camera-wielding voyeur.

The second story, Hard Labor, is set in the advertising industry, which I don't understand. A story within the story may appeal. I find Jennifer Ciesar mighty appealing.

In Slow Train, a woman reads an independent-minded grandmother's diary. In its account of an event that took place in the 1930's economic depression, she reads of the man who may be her grandfather. ... Read more
