The Best SNL Season.
The 1985-1986 season was the best season of SNL. However, nobody gave it a chance. Debuting strongly, the season got mixed reviews, and the ratings declinded, making SNL the 2nd [and at times 3rd] highest rated show of the evening. However, the humor was fresh, and due to the return of Lorne Michaels, everything seemed to be more like the original groundbreaking cast.

Quite hilarious!

87 was a good year
ahhh 1987, the show was finally comming in to it's own again,the cast was great the show was recovering from the bad period after crystal and short left and these are some quality sketches and some very funny moments even if it is just a random year. The true highlight here is hartman but all of the cast shines. ... Read more

This has to be one of teh best SNL videos by far. It is just hilarious. YOu can watch it over and over adn still laugh like it was the first tiem you've seen it. I would defently recomend anyone who wants a good laugh to buy this video! ... Read more

BIG MISTAKE
I ordered: Best of Saturday Night Live (1975) and instead I got the Best of Saturday Night Live from 1992. The description says 1975, yet my order form came out 1992, and the video I received is from 1992. I didn't think to check the order form for 1975. There is obviously an error on the website, since they list something from 1992 as 1975. DO NOT ORDER THIS TAPE IF YOU WANT THE BEST OF SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE FROM 1975.

This edition of the best of snl was better than I had expected. It shows the debut of Chris Farley, Rob Schneider, and Chris Rock. Wayne and Garth visit the beautiful Madonna. I don't want to give anything away so all I can really say is there aren't that many sketches on this tape but it's about quality not quantity for the best of snl 1990. ... Read more

Great set of Northern Exposure
For fans or even casual watchers of Northern Exposure, these are two must-see episodes. The series pilot introduces the plot and characters, and "Cicely" is, in my humble opinion, the greatest episode of the series. The first episode I ever saw was "Cicely", and I loved it. The unique humor I found to be very engaging, and the ensemble cast is terrific. You don't need to be familiar with the show or its characters to appreciate the quality of this extremely witty and very well done portrait of Cicely's colorful past. When the town doctor hits a 108 year old man with his car, and the man spins a tremendous yarn of the town's early development while being treated, the unfolding tale twists and turns with many delightful surprises. For any fan of Northern Exposure, these two episodes are mandatory viewing, and for those new to Northern Exposure, they are an excellent introduction, embodying the wit, intelligence, ambience, and color of the outstanding television series. ...
