2-0 out of 5 stars ONE OF THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This movie has nothing to do with the house and I don't think the title should even contain the word Amityville cause It has nothing REALLY to do with Amityville. If you want to fall asleep at night, put this movie in and I guarentee you will be asleep in less than 15 minutes. (Another good movie to fall asleep by is "High Planes Drifter")

1-0 out of 5 stars Indeed... one of the worst!
I agree with everyone else here who claims that 'The Curse' is one of the weakest films in the series... But, I think there IS a connection with Amityville and the former films. The priest that gets killed is the one who has driven the demon out of the teenage boy who slaughtered his family in 'The Possession' (A2). The old woman with the glass eye proclaims this fact somewhere along the film. Since this famous exorcism, the demon entered the body of this holy man and later on, when he was shot between the eyes by one of the later inhabitants of his house, the demon passed on into the new body. Kinda hard to follow though, since it really is boring and nothing creepy happens (only clichés which you have seen in a thousand previous movies).

But, the other films are fantastic! Except for this monstrosity, I have only seen the 1st (Amityville Horror), 2nd (Possession), 6th (A new generation) and the 7th (1992-It's about time)... and they were all worthwile.

1-0 out of 5 stars BORING!!!
This is an awful movie. Obviously the writers were so desperate for ideas that they decided to try to take this Amityville film out of the Amityville house. It has nothing to do with Amityville, and I still am puzzled by the fact that this movie bears the name Amityville in it's title. All I can say is it is not for people with a short attention span. If you're looking for something exciting, I would choose a Mr. Rogers re-run over this one.

1-0 out of 5 stars This movie is a joke!
This movie is the biggest joke. Need i say more ? NO !! Don't buy it !

1-0 out of 5 stars Yikes...this movie sucked
This movie was the biggest waste of 90 minutes ever. There is like no plot or meaning to the movie. It has nothing to do with all the other amityville movies and the Nathan Lane looking guy is a joke. The dialogue is contrieved and the script; well there is no script. And with no script there is no plot and no real meaning for the movie to have been shot, directed or made in the first place.... ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Twin Sisters
Stephanie Kramer does a fine job of creating the disturbing relationship of two very different twin sisters, who are (at the same time), very alike. When Carol discovers that her twin sister Lynn has gone missing, she must fly to Montreal. She meets Lynn's friend and finally discovers that her sister had been lying to her all these years; Lynn was a call girl, and didn't work for the stock market. Suspecting that the supposed death of her sister had something to do with her clients, Carol goes undercover as Lynn and teams up with a cop, Sgt. Delveaux, to find out the secret behind the disappearance of her sister. Above-average direct-to-video release with dedicated performances, moderate suspense and a decent music score dredge this up from a one or two-star rating. Pretty good feature.

5-0 out of 5 stars Still may favorite movie after all these years
It looked like a walk in the park for Stepfanie to play the double role. I have heard that many didnt like this movie but to me I rate it the highest that it comes, 5 stars. The plot was a real twist at the end, but the bad cop thing really wasnt the best way to go. For a movie that was a tv only release I have to give credit to the writers and actors for giving it the right ump. ... Read more
