4-0 out of 5 stars The Third Episode
This episode is the third Lone Ranger episode, which is a continuation of the first two episodes. You can't buy just this tape and expect to know what's going on. To get the rest of the story, you need to get the first two episodes. There are two tapes that have the first three episodes: "Enter the Lone Ranger" and "Legend of the Lone Ranger." I have both of those, and I would recommend "Enter the Lone Ranger" because it has superior quality to "Legend of the Lone Ranger." However, "Legend of the Lone Ranger" does have one scene that for some reason "Enter the Lone Ranger" doesn't have, so maybe you'll want to get both. In any case, these tapes are definitely a must-have for any Lone Ranger fan.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Masked man does it again
George Seitz Jr. does it again. A classic Lone Ranger hit. Plenty of action on the part of the Lone Ranger and Tonto. A must have for all Lone Ranger fans. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Walking Small
The original "Walking Tall", despite its low budget, was highly entertaining and commercially successful. The cast was very strong (particularly Baker and Hartman), the script was sound, and the direction was good. However, this sequel was shot by a different studio, with acting, direction, and script which were glaringly inferior to the original. Joe Don Baker wisely declined to reprise his role as Buford, so the part went to Bo Svenson, who doesn't possess the acting skill required for a deodorant commercial, and proves it by delivering a typically rotten performance. He is so bad in his role as the sheriff that one almost cheers for the villains, in the hope that someone will get this clown off the screen, and rescue viewers from further boredom. In fact, Svenson should have been arrested for attempting to impersonate an actor.

After the initial film, there was really very little story left to tell, so it isn't long before this film bogs down quite badly, sorely testing the endurance of the viewer. As entertainment, it is a complete waste of time for all but the most entertainment-starved viewer; however, as a shining example of cinematic incompetence on all levels, it is a masterpiece. Unfortunately, though, this is not as bad as it gets - there is an even worse sequel ("Final Chapter"), which almost makes this one look good by comparison.

2-0 out of 5 stars Part 2 Walking Tall
"Walking Tall" was a big sleeper hit in 1973,making around 40 million dollars at the box office.Adjusted for inflation that translates to around 100 million in today's dollars. That is considered a legitimate blockbuster by Hollywood's standards. Not bad for a low budget movie with no big stars from a small independent studio. Buford Pusser said in an interview that his "only criticism of "Walking Tall" was that it wasn't violent enough".That's saying something.Pusser served three two year terms as sheriff from 1964 to 1970,"Part 2 Walking Tall" (as it was originally called, now it's Walking Tall 2,big difference)takes up where the first one left off.Part 2 covers perhaps a year in the Sheriff's life.I first saw Part 2 in the theatre when it first came out in the summer of 1975(the summer when "Jaws" first came out) and I'm sorry to say I was disappointed in this followup.Bo Svenson took over the role of Sheriff Pusser, after Joe Don Baker decided it would be better not to play the part for a second time.At 6ft.5in.Svenson physically looked more like the actual Buford Pusser but I didn't think he was nearly as good in the role.Joe Don Baker who is a mere 6ft.2in.(however he still walks tall),and hails from Texas and went to the prestigious Actor's Studio,is a fine actor and he gave a powerful, emotionally charged performance in the first film that is sadly lacking in Part 2.Also,Part 2 had a different writer,a different director, even a different studio(the studio which released the first film called Cinerama Releasing, unfortunately went out business the year before),American International Pictures released Part 2.American International went under back in the early '80's,after 25 years in the movie business. The first film had a more adult R rating.Part 2 was considerably toned down compared to the first film,it was only PG.Part 2 plays more like a luke warm '70's style TV movie.Bo Svenson played Sheriff Pusser again in 1977 in "The Final Chapter:Walking Tall"(which I never saw),and again in a TV series that ran on NBC in 1979,(which I also never saw),the series was short lived,it ran only for a few months.

4-0 out of 5 stars Action Packed!
Action at it's best with juctice in the south, as Buford Pusser continued on with putting the bad guys in there place and setting things straight with the law. If you've seen "WALKING TALL" part 1, then this is a must for those who haven't seen part 2.

5-0 out of 5 stars Bo Svenson-Great Actor
I have seen Walking Tall over and over, To me Bo Svenson did an outstanding job in this sequel.:)

3-0 out of 5 stars Only if you could of meet the man
I found the movie to be very closely to the truth as the story was told to me by the real Sheriff however it would seem to some that a true story where a man lays his life on the line for his family is boring or bad acting. However i found the movie to be enjoyable and of course you would have to look at the time frame this was good acting for 1975 ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars "Get Happy With The Partridges"
In these six fun-filled episodes of "The Partridge Family",you'll find music and fun! In "What? And Get Out Of Showbusiness",you'll see how the Partridges got their start into the music business. In "Old Scrapmouth",Laurie gets braces and doesnt want to open her mouth. Mark Hamill guest stars in this episode. In "Anchors Aweigh!",Shirley meets her high school sweetheart "Captain Cuddles" Corwin. This was the 96th,and last episode for the Partridges. In "A Knight In Shining Armor",teen idol Bobby Sherman drops by on the Partridges. This spawned the series "Getting Together". In "But The Memory Lingers On", The Partridges get sprayed by a skunk who stoiws away on their bus. And in "The Eleven Year Old Itch",Jodie Foster has a crush on Danny, but things turn ugly.

In both videos, you'll hear the first 2 theme songs: "When We're Singin'",and "Come On,Get Happy",althogh in the pilot episode, it's "Together".

5-0 out of 5 stars At Last! A little bit of good old fashioned tv fun on tape.
I was VERY young when my sister was watching these episodes, first run, on television, and for reasons unknown to me, they had stuck with me.

Watching these six episodes again, as an adult, reminded me of how fun, and easy it was in the past to watch and enjoy television!

Granted, the first episode in the series is a little stiff, and does not have the cohesive quality the "family" has in later episodes, but it is truly a must have for true Partridge Family collectors, and casual viewers alike. If you haven't already fallen for the possibility that the perfect mom exists, you will find it in Shirley Partridge.

This two video pack includes the problems with Laurie's braces (guest star-to-be, Mark Hamill), the problems with "Mom" on a date with a Navy officer, the problem with a musically talented intruder (Bobby Sherman), the problem with a skunk on the bus (the episode that spawned the hit, "I Think I Love You"), and finally the problem with an 11 year old girl (a very tom-boyish Jodie Foster), and her crush on Danny. Whew! A lot of problems, and only in six episodes! But, man, what fun those problems are, and what great music that is woven in between them all.

Warning: if you are looking for a chronological set of released episodes, THIS IS NOT IT. It is but a teasing sample, of the fun, warmth, humour, music, and family trials and triumphs that this show shared with us. A gem of a find, especially for us dyed-in-the-wool Partridge Family Fans.

If this is your first visit with the Partridge Family, take a chance...."Let the Sunshine In," and "C'mon Get Happy" with the Partridges (the two songs on the Pilot episode.)

For the rest of us, sit back, and remember the fun. (Oh, and trying to watch this "presented in CBS color" show on a black and white 14 inch TV, with a 2 inch mono speaker. Ah, those were the days...) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Missing footage from the pilot and more!
This Munsters' documentary/rarity tape boasts a few scenes from the color pilot (with different actors playing Eddie and Lily's character, who is named "Phoebe"). Also among rarities are commercials for cereal featuring the Munster clan, scenes from a fall preview special with Buddy Ebsen, and a commercial for a television special. The quality of the videos usually rate from okay to bad--but a must-have for Munster fans. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Classic Barney Fife
This is classic Barney! Opie and Arnold knock a baseball through the front door or the old Rimshaw place and are too scared to go in and get it. Barney gives them a speach about how there is no such things as ghosts. Then Andy calls his bluff and sends him to retrieve the ball. Barney tricks Gomer into going with him, and when they get there, they are scared silly by noises and run back to get Andy. He takes them back to prove to them there's nothing to be afraid of. I won't give away the ending. You'll love it!
