You Have to Love the Guy
Myles is a creedy dude. Narcistic beyond all belief, he seems to want to achieve all the things that elude him most. The problem is that his various attempts at achieving the goals are misguided. He seems to be always be saying: "I deserve this, so why can't I get it?" His cameras and his life style invite comparision to Patrick Bateman from AMERICAN PSYCHO. Then again, he is sort of an every man. His intentions are honorable, but his execution is flawed.

Then again, this is the "Myles" character that is being documented on film. I think that this is just an off-spring of Myles Berkowitz, the filmmaker. The "Myles" character is really just a composite sketch of all Berkowitz's worst personality flaws. This movie is a way for him to disect himself. That is probably why he has all of his friends and his agent in the movie. They list off all of his worst characteristics. Surely, they must have mentioned some good ones. Berkowitz just decided not to include them. Berkowtiz is similar to Woody Allen. The "Woody" character that you see in all of his movies is not Woody Allen. He is just a public personae to air the real Allen's dirty laundry. Film making is a cathartic release.

With that being said, I like this movie a lot. There are some things that are obviously staged. I think that it is a pretty good bet that the producer of the film is a fictional creation. The ending of the film, which is its one weak spot, is also staged. The rest of it simply seems to real to be staged. Look at the footage of Berkowitz's ex-wife. Or ths reaction of the women when they find out they are being filmed. It's eithier phenomonal acting, or it's honest to God "Candid Camera" stuff. I think what I like most about it is the uncomprimising honest. He goes to AA meetings to meet women. He uses sleazy pick up lines ("Do you want porno movies?" he asks Elisabeth.) He even films himself freaking out on his crew. And I love that the fact that he blew his one shot at fame because he couldn't star or direct. Berkowitz knows he looks like a jerk, but he doesn't care. It is all for the sake of the movie.

The real achievement of this movie is that you root for "Myles," regardless of his flaws. He only wants what we all want. You can't blame the guy for trying.

Well i Thought it was Great
I guess it shows that tastes differ i thought this was a good film.
i can see why some people didn't like it though. Myles comes across as shallow self centred and arrogant, but hey thats why i liked him. it's obviously scripted but very funny!

Yuck.
There's something terribly wrong with a movie that is centered on a charm-free guy who doesn't have a single interesting thing to say. The strongest proof that the movie was scripted is that a beautiful, intelligent woman such as Elisabeth agreed to go out with him. Don't waste your time on this one, folks.

20 Deaths
Myles Berkowitz is the most pretentious and repugnant character I've ever been forced to suffer. What's most pathetic is that he desperately wants to be Woody Allen, but has none of the wit or likeability. It's shameful this movie was even greenlighted when there are so many hard-working writers with genuinely good ideas that can't get their foot in the door. Does anyone else sense the malodorous stench of nepotism here?

20 dates with himself.
If Myles Berkowitz could just find a women that walked like him, talked like him, looked like him, whined like him... well you get the point. 20 Dates is like a longer version of "Blind Date" only not half as funny. Instead we are forced to hear Myles spew on about his notions of Hollywood romance. What would have made a better movie was to try and explain how a women like Elizabeth would ever go out with someone as myopic as Myles, then maybe some men would have actually learned something about women A.K.A. love. I gave it 2 stars because the producer lines while probably scripted made me laugh, and I actually made it to the end of the film. PS, I did foward fast through to the end. ... Read more

Best Playboy video ever
This is one of those rare videos that does not disappoint. Filled with some of the magazine's most buxom and luscious girls frolicking about the Mansion grounds in the buff, this video is pure eye candy. Heather Kozar, Stacy Fuson, Alexandria Karlson, Lisa Dergan, Victoria Gleason, Laura Cover, Jaime Bergman and other girls make this video a winner. Too bad more vids are not like this one.

lots of fantastic nude women
Well, the video does have a lot of non-nude footage of the mansion, its environs, and its history. Ho-hum. That is what fast-fowarding was invented for. Even though half the tape is this boring travelogue, the other half is lots of great nude women! See gorgeous Playmates play pool and foozeball fully nude, the latter scene just awesome, what heaven must look like. Another scene has them playing strip poker (finally Playboy showed one of the prime male fantasies), with Deana Brooks stealing the show here (what a nice chest she has by the way). She is queen again later when the Playmates reenact their centerfold shots and try on various bits of lingerie (though forgetting to get dressed agan when they remove the lingerie they try on). Fantastic. The well-endowed cute blonde Heather Kozar is very much present as well, a true knockout. Also see fully nude playmates excercize, go to a sauna, take a shower, get a massage, tour the mansion's zoo, and play in the Grotto. Life at its best. Lots of nudity.

The cover says Stacy Sanchez, the hot PMOY, is in the video, but only for mere moments. A shame, but still a great buy.

best palyboy DVD you can ever own!
Playmate Pajama Party is by far the greatest playboy DVD you can ever own! It does have a great history of the Playboy Mansion in general but who cares about that! It was a great pleasure watching all the drop dead gorgeous playmates have fun all nude, everywhere in the Playboy Mansion, from the poolside to the game room to the pillow fight at the end. Women like Lisa Dergan, Vanessa Gleason, Laura Cover and the late Elisa Bridges in this flick are guaranteed to turn up the temperature in your living room! I've watched this a 100 times and I am still not tired of it!...it's one of the greatest purchases I have ever made. For all you playboy fans who love eye candy, this is a must have!

This is one of the better Playboy videos?
My first Playboy DVD purchase: an hour long, spends about half of the time basically doing a documentary on the Hefner mansion (do a release on it if it's sooo spectacular), I thought this had some gorgeous women, but was nothing overly exciting to me.

I bought it for the fact that Laura Cover was in it, and was disappointed that she wasn't in a lot of the full scenes, and quickly featured (she even gets snapped in the nose by a pool cue - watch for it).

Unless you are specifically looking for a feature on one of the other ladies, I find this DVD very tame & dragged out in a cheesy fashion. Nice scenery, good mansion tour, but not very steamy.

Good DVD
I own this DVD and must say it is one of the better ones in the last few years. Playbay manages to incorporate some of the women's individual personailites which is a plus. There women are all beautiful and in addition also gives us a small glimpse of the mansion and the lifestyle we can all wish for. ... Read more

brunette Playmates on this DVD
This is one of the early Playboy DVD releases, with no animated menus or trailers, or bonus features. 12 video segments, one for each Playmate, each Playmate getting about 4-5 minutes of screentime. The quality isn't that good, which has been a characteristic of Image releases of Playboy DVDs.

After seeing some of the more recent Video Calendar DVDs with mostly blonde Playmates, this DVD was a treat to view some brunette Playmates. There are many hot Playmates here, but who you like will depend on your particular taste of women.

About half of the Playmates have small busts, probably 34B or smaller. 3 of them are about average size, while only 3 others are what I would call busty. If you're a fan of big racks, you won't find any 38DDs here.

I would describe the majority of Playmates here as cute and perky, like the Latina from Columbia, Maria Checa, or the hot ballerina from Texas, Elisa Bridges.

For several other Playmates like Cindy Brown, Danelle Folta, Traci Adell, and Kelly Gallagher, this is their only appearance on any of the Playboy DVDs that have been released so far.

6 of the ladies are brunettes, while 2 others have dark blonde hair. Only 4 of the Playmates have light or fair blonde hair.

This DVD is best enjoyed by those who are fans of these Playmates already, which I am of several of the ladies here. If you're new, stick to the more recent Video Calendars which have a better video quality on the Universal releases and longer running times.

pretty good video
Not a bad Playmate video calendar, not one of their best but not bad, certainly not one of their worsts (and they have some bad ones, trust me). A run down of the girls: Kelly Galagher is cute, nice breasts, but her vignettes aren't that great. Cindy Brown is very pretty, her second scene encrusted in jewels (and nude) is very nice. Maria Checha gets very naked, but I didn't think she was that great. Stacy Sanchez is fantastic! Both of her vignettes are awesome. In the first one she has a country-western theme, and when she takes off that white dress to show off her statuesque body, it is mind-blowing. Amazonian figure with a really great rear. Her second sketch is great too, sort of a catwalk/fashion shoot theme. Lisa Marie Scott is next on the tape, she has a nice nude ballet sequence. Traci Adell is excellent, a gorgeous brunette with bewitching eyes. In her second segment, she does this artist's model/scupltor skit, and it is great. She starts out the skit topless, her awesome and beautiful bosom in full display for all to see, wearing little denim shorts, which she soon takes off and lets us get a good look at her anatomy. Nice. Rhonda Adams is a pretty blonde, though as Playboy has so many she doesn't really stand out. Her first segment with her giving a birthday party for herself (?!) is not bad, where she receives and tries on lingerie, but too brief. Her second segment sucks. Danelle Folta is next. Yes she is pretty, is great in the newstand specials, and has some good segments in other videos, but her two segments in this one aren't any good in my mind. Elise Bridge is kinda small-breasted and her very visible tan lines are distracting, she made no impression on me. Melissa Holiday was excellent, her first segment as a nude/topless magician's assistant, very nice, and the second one just plain great, lots of great breast shots. The last two, Victoria Zdrok and Julie Ciallini, don't do anything for me. I know Julie is a PMOY but I never thought her that great looking, and her chest was not that enticing. I know she (and Victoria) have their fans, but I am not one of them.

All in all not a bad buy, worth it for Traci, Melissa, Stacy, and Cindy in my opinion.

Beautiful women in a revealing video!
As usual Playboy have brought some beautiful playmates in a fantastic video. You'll especially like the library scene with Victoria Zdrok! And Julie Lynn Cialini will blow you away!

A Must See For Playboy Fans!
Man, Stacy Sanches and Victoria Zdrok really have what it takes to get your engine running!All of the other playmates really heat up the screen in the best playmate calendar in recent memory.

Weak.
Playboy can't seem to decide whether it wants to cling to cheesy elements like gawd-awful narration and silly scenes that may make the director feel like a great filmmaker, all evidence to the contrary, or not. This DVD features some of Playboy's most outstanding recent Playmates -- Karen McDougal, Kelly Monaco, Carrie Stevens -- but otherwise, it's vintage 1989. We get eight scenes that feature Playmates cavorting chastely with male models and idiotic narration telling us "Brenda always loved studying calculus with her guy." Granted, most Playboy videos seem to feel someone out there likes these little stories, but for the life of me, I can't imagine who; I'm certainly not getting these videos for their wonderful storylines. And as a DVD, this is a let-down, too: Surely Playboy could come up with trailers, a link to their Web site, Playmate biographies or something? The lack of effort put into this video really says it all. Yes, the women are beautiful, but it's only their natural qualities that keep this from being outright unwatchable. Get Playboy's "Naked in Paradise: Girls of Hawaiian Tropic" or the Karen McDougal PMOY video instead.

Avoid this one
This DVD has a lot of problems. The women spend too much time clothed. The camera spends too much time recording dopey expressions on the faces of the male actors. The narrator spends too much time blabbing. Worst of all, because of either poor make-up, or poor lighting or camera work, or poor direction, most of the women don't look as good as Playmates should. The exceptions are Bethany Lorraine, who's cute and very sexy in the first scene, and Karen McDougal, who's cute and very bouncy in the final scene. But even those two cuties don't make this a good buy.

Not quite what I expected
I saw the cover for this one & the rental at the movie store was constantly out - I figured it must be a doozy! After I ordered it & viewed it, I honestly was quite disappointed.

I don't want to see guys as much as the women, the scenes feature the girls in clothing as much (if not more than) in the buff, the scenes are SSSLLLLOOOWWW and fairly corny, almost to the irritating point. Nonetheless, beautiful naked women as expected, but nothing I would watch again if it were STILL in my collection. A whole video on Bethany Lorraine any day would suit me fine after seeing her scene though!

I wish *these* girls were next door
Ok, I won't give my typical run downs of all the major scenes, but mention my three favorite ones, which are reason enough to buy this hot video.

The first one, "the naughty schoolgirl"...is Bethany Lorraine. An extremely attractive blonde, with quite a nice figure, Playboy has done very well with her. One of the main reasons Playboy is tops is their ability to fine some of the most beautiful women on the planet for their products. The vast majority of the time when they use non-Playmates in their videos, well, the videos just fail to interest me. Sometimes the girls are just not as pretty, other times they just lack a certain something. Not Bethany, no sir. Very hot blonde, I never get tired of seeing her nude. She is even better in Gen-X Girls by Playboy, and has a nice skit in Women Behaving Badly as well. Anyway, in her skit she pretends to be a school girl studying math or some such with her boyfriend/study partner, and they start undressing and pretend to have sex.

The second worthwhile one is with Karen McDougal and Daphnne Duplaix. How they decided that pair is beyond me. Daphnee I hate to say is almost ugly, too short hair, not pretty face, very flat chest - just go away! I wouldn't judge women that way in real life, but as far as my entertainment goes... But Karen, ahhh Karen. Dream girl. Gorgeous brunette with a really excellent chest, she is one naughty neighbor indeed. A great scene.

My favorite though has to be the Carrie Stevens one. Playboy has not done this women justice! The scenario is a voyeur one, where a male next door neighbor sees (and photgraphs) her undressing, bathing, then getting dressed for bed. Super hot! A fantastic uber-babe, totally excellent breasts, great hair,...nice figure,...pretty face...you get the picture.

This video is wonderul for these three fine women. Buy it today, you won't be sorry!

Not Art But I like It
For a Playboy tape, this is not too bad - but it's not too good either. Since the subject matter is hot naked chicks I still loved the tape. Obviously all the women are DDG (drop dead gorgeous) which makes me wish I got to run the camera for the video shoot. Speaking of running the camera, you will see plenty of lovely faces, pretty smiles, and supple breasts, but you won't see much buttocks. When you do see the model's buns it's usually a quick glance during an action shot, such as when the Playmate dance, or walk, etc. In my opinion, Heidi Mark, Rachel Jean Marteen, and Alicia Rickter (who provides the tape with the finest bun shot) are the hottest girls on the tape. Overall, not bad for Playboy, but I wish they would show more nudity and close-ups.

Top Notch
Of the calendar series, this may be one of the best years. An exciting, energetic video, a must for the calendar collector, and a good beginnig for the person who is curious.

Both hot women
Im not exactly sure why I dont give this five stars since it is a very hot video and both playmates are very sexy but there is something missing overall. Stacy has one of the all-time great bodies and Donna is really built but its not exactly the best in video. Still a very good video.

Stacy Sanches fans won't be disappointed!!
This is one of the earlier Playboy DVD releases, with no animated menus, preview trailers, or bonus features. Fortunately, 1996 Playmate of the Year Stacy Sanches still sizzles on the screen. She appears in 7 video segments here, along with her POY still frame pictorial, taking up the first 35 minutes of the DVD. In one segment, she has her hair straightened out from her normal curly and frizzled hair, and she comes across far more sexier, like a supermodel, with the straight hair look.

Inbetween each segment, Stacy is interviewed, along with her very hot sister Kim, and her mother also. Kim does appear in one of the 7 segments with Stacy, and it is among the best segments on the DVD, as they play with a mini-basketball and frolick on the bed together. It's a different video segment from the boxing sequence with Stacy and Kim on the Playboy Sisters DVD.

In the last 15 minutes, we get to see Playmate/Baywatch babe Donna D'Errico in 4 different video segments and a still frame sequence from her centerfold pictorial. Donna is a hot perky blonde who deserves more screen time herself.

The combination of Stacy, her sister Kim, and Donna all on one DVD is worth 4 stars. Unfortunately, I took away one star because of the slightly short running time at 53 minutes and the less-than-stellar video quality that is normal for the Image releases of Playboy titles.

4 of the 11 video segments can be seen on the 1997 Playboy Video Calendar. If you like them there, then this DVD is a must for you.

Reminiscing about Stacy and Kim
I used to live next door to Stacy and Kim in Dallas back in 1991-1992. When I found out Stacy had become Playmate of the Year in 96, I was ecstatic! I had to purchase this video and, while it depicted Kim and Stacy well, it doesn't do them justice.

The sides of them I didn't get to see were incredible!

Excrement
In an age of loose morals and available prostitution this video still manages to offend me.

This is a Must
If you like Stacy or Kim Sanches you must get this DVD or Video. This is one of the best videos of Stacy Sanches and it is at a good buy$$. I hope you like it I did. ... Read more
