Well...
I'd give this some grief for being made in the late 80's >_< Well, it's basically a story....about...a warrior...that's protecting a princess called "Jenna" that for some reason manages to get her torso naked everytime someone tries to attack her...someone over the age of ten can figure out the plot and the ending after watching it for about twenty minutes. But as I said, it was made in the 80's so everything that we think would be a cliche today, wasn't back then. Anyway, I gave this a 2 star rating because I love Miles O'Keefe's armor design and the way his hair is set up...great for artistic values. This film dissapointed me and I wondered why I wasted money to rent it...but the setting's nice and the way the characters look (armor design, clothes...) are very artistic. Cheers. ... Read more

STIRRING CIVIL WAR DRAMA IN "BATTLE FOR GLORY"
It's been a long time since I've seen a really good Civil War drama, but "BATTLE FOR GLORY" more than fills the bill. Lots of interesting characters and drama are acted out against the threat of war breaking out between North and South. And when it does, all hell breaks loose! Miles O'Keeffe, who played Tarzan in that Bo Derek movie, plays a Yankee soldier who takes over a plantation and holds some Southern Belles hostage, and things heat up from there. I don't want to spoil any surprises, but you won't be disappointed when you rent BATTLE FOR GLORY.

Don't Waste Your Money Buying This!
This is one of the most poorly produced movies that I have ever watched. I am surprised that my public library wasted its money to even buy it.

The sound quality is terrible, the actors horrible and the entire plot line disjointed. It is so bad, the film company couldn't even write a brief description about the movie (on the back of the video) without making a very obvious spelling error.

Don't bother wasting your money folks! This is not a B grade movie, this is more like an F grade. ... Read more

An epic Civil War drama with action, romance, and thrills!
