five-topless chicks. Although pt 6 was good, it didn't have any nudity. This film did!
- The opening sequence that refers to the events of the past sequels, thereby giving the viewer a quick update before the opening credits roll, - A group of teenage-to-early-twenty-something types who you know are doomed from the get-go, - A deadly skinny-dip scene, - Several kills that reflect the 'Friday' franchise's philosophy of Sex and/or illicit substance use leading to the deaths of the people partaking in such activities, - Jason tryin' out an array of various hand tools on his victims, as well as other items of convenience (including tent stakes, a motorized weed-whacker, and even a party-favor horn), - An overall lack of genuine scariness, with most of the kills generating more laughs and groans of disappointment than screams of fright. - Yadda-yadda-yadda and so on and so forth. But what's a re-hash without a sad attempt at injecting a little freshness into the mix? That's where our psychokinetically-gifted heroine and her manipulative therapist comes in. Of course, the whole head-case deal was done to death (so to speak) in Part V, but this time the protagonist can actually manipulate stuff with the power of her mind! Which she does of course in the final face-off against undead Jason, which culminates in quite possibly the most illogical and nonsensical ending a 'Friday' flick's been saddled with! Man, was that (anti)climactic moment sad. 'Course, it's not quite as sad as my decision to check out Part VIII! I'm SICK I tell you! SICK!!! On the upside, the crew did some pretty good make-up appliance effects on Jason here. Ya got'cher exposed bones, rotted-looking flesh, the works. He'd have been right at home in those 'Living Dead' flicks, lemme tells ya... 'Late

Two beautiful slaves escape a slave spaceship and crash land on a planet. On it they meet up with a crazy lunatic who likes to hunt people. Basically from then on in it's a hide and chase movie with plenty of laserblasts from phaser type weapons and tough fights with skimpy-clad women. One of my favorites.

Basically from then on in it's a hide and chase movie with plenty of laserblasts from phaser type weapons and tough fights with skimpy-clad women. One of my favorites.
Two prisoners, Daria (Elizabeth Kaitan) and Tisa (Cindy Beal), find themselves in quite a predicament. Locked away in a cage on a transport barge, the two must discover some way to escape before the overlords of the ship sell them into slavery. One of the girls figures out how to break their chains-must have studied physics in high school-and the two overpower their guards and escape in a smaller spaceship. Adrift in deep space, Daria and Tisa worry whether they will ever find a civilized planet on which to land. Just when the situation looks bleak, the ship picks up a signal from a nearby planet. The ship crash-lands on the planet and the two are briefly separated. They reunite at a medieval looking castle in the middle of a jungle owned by a man named Zed (Don Scribner). This guy, who has two robot helpers, already plays host for two other crash survivors-Shela (Brinke Stevens) and Rik (Carl Horner). Daria and Tisa soon learn that Zed is a little odd, that he likes to spend his time playing weird holographic musical instruments, hosting lavish dinners, and hunting. Especially hunting. Zed's huge basement is loaded with trophies celebrating his excursions into the jungle. Our heroines soon discover that Zed likes to hunt humans instead of animals. He draws wayfarers to the planet only so he can turn them loose in the jungle and, using his robots as hounds, flush them into the open to finish them off. Daria and Tisa, along with Rik and Shela, will soon form the next contingent for a new hunting expedition. In the meantime, the girls discover what Zed is up to and attempt to escape. No good. Zed is determined to hunt, so after recapturing the cuties he cuts them loose with a few weapons and instructions about how to play the game. It's to the credit of our heroines that they aren't willing to just lie down and accept their fate. They truly fight to stay alive despite the traps, the slanted odds of the game, and the dangerous wildlife in the jungle. There's the noble sacrifice, the discovery of a strange alien structure, and the usual table turning moment. You can probably guess how this one ends. If not, you ought to. So many other films have ripped this idea off that you have definitely seen some version of the story at some point in your life. I incorrectly labeled "Slave Girls From Beyond Infinity" as a B movie, and it is, but I should make a distinction between the special effects (certainly B budget) and the acting, dialogue, and pacing. The latter is pure Z grade schlock, with the characters tossing off brain deadening dialogue and one-liners even as they prance around in bikinis and lingerie. Where did they get these clothes, anyway? Zed lives in a huge castle with everything he could want. Couldn't he at least have the decency to find a pair of pants for these gals? Actually, the skimpy outfits make the film somewhat impressive. How much cooler is it for a couple of woman to stand up to two robots and a heavily armed man in a bikini than wearing shirts, pants, and shoes? Anyway, the pacing of the film positively drags even though the movie only runs for seventy some minutes. The acting, too, is the pits. It's a sad commentary on the state of cinema when you watch a movie like this one and recognize that the robots turned in the best performances. Still, discerning viewers can distill a few interesting things about the future by watching the movie. For example, at some point when spaceships exist, the fashion trends and hairstyles of the 1980's will make a comeback. I kept expecting that guy from A Flock of Seagulls to step out of the shadows like some bizarrely coiffed Rod Serling clone, telling us the movie an illusion. Extras on the DVD version, if memory serves me correctly, consisted of several trailers for cheese classics like "The Creepozoids." I can't really recommend this film to anyone. It's too corny for science fiction fans, too non-horror for the horror crowd, and too foolhardy for lovers of tongue in cheek comedy. Even viewers looking for girls walking around in next to nothing might be disappointed. The image of beauty has obviously changed quite a bit between 1987 and now. These girls will probably do nothing to raise the pulse of today's young male audiences. Give it a shot if you just have to see it. Others, stay light years away.
This is almost literally an exact remake of 'The Most Dangerous Game', with a few added mutants and bickering androids for good measure. There is actually not much nudity, and what little bit there is not what you would call titillating. This should have been a more upbeat, fun camp classic, but it tried to be too many things. Notably the director attempts to make it genuinely scary and suspenseful during the hunting scenes, but given the silly nature of the material they are working with, the end product never seems to quite click as a movie. I have seen funny and campy sci-fi, which I like, and I have seen scary sci-fi, which I also like. Unfortunately this movie presses a little too hard to be both, and it comes up a bit short in the end.

Quite simply a group of four young people, all recently out of college go to a Wax Museum that has been left to one of them by their Grandfather. It turned out that he had penchant for displaying some of history's more erotic figures in a variety of poses in his wax museum and with the help of a mysterious caped figure and a gold amulet, these wax figures come to life at night and enjoy themselves in the sexiest ways possible. Through several escapades which include Romeo and Juliet, Anthony and Cleopatra etc we are treated to a little bit of a mystery, a snippet of drama, a bit of a love story and quite a lot of comedy mixed in with the more mature side of an adult film. All in all it was quite enjoyable and I think I might be tempted to see the 'The Exotic Time Machine' if I get the chance.
This really is a fun movie. Watching the guys' faces when they first witness wax figures coming to life and performing in front of their eyes is pretty amusing. The talented Jacqueline Lovell is always a joy to watch, and there are plenty of sex scenes for almost all the characters to either gape at or engage in. The Exotic House of Wax is far better than most films you will find in this mature genre; it has everything most films of this type lack-decent acting, attractive ladies, an impressive number of quality sex scenes, and, it goes without saying, Jacqueline Lovell. Surrender Cinema, to my knowledge, never disappoints, and this movie does nothing to make me doubt my conviction of this fact.

This one just reaks. The dialog is flat and the people don't look like they had fun making it. Rent it, don't buy it. Yech.
Don't expect any revelations or high art experiences, just a funny satire on sexual stereotypes in modern day America. And, once again, we are blessed with the highly entertaining presence of Elizabeth Kaitan...
I was actually startled to find this film had been transferred to DVD. It's one of those films that you watch with your friends and end up laughing yourself sick. The basic premise of the film is about a couple of go-go dancers who are mistakenly fingered for offing their sleazy boss. While on the run from the police, they "rescue" Darlene, a trackstop waitress and attempt to find Mexico. During this ridiculous escapade, one of the girls feels she isn't very pretty and the ringleader decides that the middle of the desert is a great place for a makeover. There are some amazingly stupid lines that are so funny that you will find yourself quoting them at some point down the road. Do yourselves a favour and pick up this gem. It's only $9.98 and worth every penny. I was well chuffed to find this one. Now, if they could only get the classic "Nice Girls Don't Explode" with Barbara Harris, Michelle Meyrink and Wallace Shawn onto DVD, my life would be complete!

Not so with Virtual Encounters. While it was nice to see the expected sex scenes aplenty in this movie, there was no story whatsoever. Kaitan hooks herself up to the Virtual Reality machine and it shows her all types of sexual pleasures. They try and develop Kaitan's character as a shy woman who isn't comfortable with her sexuality. As a result, her relationship is suffering. Her boyfriend gives her the gift of Virtual Reality and she loves it. A so-so movie I would watch the Exotic House Of Wax instead.
I'll give this movie two stars, because some of the scenes had potential...
A couple of real highlights in the film were the strip club scene and the wet lesbian/three way. But all of the scenes were good. Given the low price and high quality of the video, this is an easy recommendation.

Most, and perhaps all, of the movies were brought to us by Full Moon Entertainment. Some of the films which have segments contained in this movie are such infamous B-flicks as "Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death", "Beach Babes From Beyond" and "Assault of the Killer Bimbos". Some parts of the movie are nothing more than lifting entire scenes from other movies. Other parts are slightly altered. For example, the background music might have been changed or a narrator might make a snide comment a la MST3000 (but not nearly as funny). Please don't think that you are buying a "new" movie and please, please don't think you are buying anything funny. It's very dull to watch this stuff for almost an hour and a half.

There are many low points in this monstrosity, but I will only mention three: he is unable to communicate with Earth because his 'transgalactic communicator' has a broken 'positronic spacely sprocket' (which makes me wonder if Hanna-Barbera could sue); he dances to disco music in the bar, which filled me with revulsion; and he puts on several changes of clothes in an attempt to get the right look (just think flamenco dancer here and you can see why this is much worse than it sounds.) This movie utterly fails on so many levels that I can't list them all. It can't decide what it wants to be, and as a result, is really just a mess. I gave it two stars for having the lovely Betsy Lynn George (according to the internet she is now a gymnastics teacher) in the cast; otherwise it is a waste of time.
Even with low expectations, the plot of this film is just insulting. An astronaut crash lands on a planet inhabited solely by women who live in an old west cowboy society. Being the only man on the planet, he is immediately thrust into a slew of sexual scenarios. The film fails however on the two levels that one might expect it to succeed along. The story is not engaging. The situations simply are not funny. The astronaut simply encounters woman after woman who are interested in exploring sex with him. The entire thing is not only predictable (as these films tend to be) but also simply does not give the viewer any reason to care or even be amused. If one is interested in watching a film for the "adult" entertainment value, then one could certainly choose better. If erotica is your thing, you could find any number of films where the eroticism is treated much more carefully. The "sex" in this film generally consists of Captain Rogers (the man) being alone with one of the cowgirls and her being unable to resist him and so she performs a strip tease for him. However, the dancing is always uninspired, and the viewer will quickly become bored with it (in fact, the captain himself becoems bored with the situation and tries to find true love). After the dance, Rogers is so turned on that presumedly he decides to have sex with each of the women, however one cannot know for sure because the scenes always end at this point and we segue into another situation where some other woman will attempt to seduce him in essentially the same scenario. Whether you are looking for camp or for eroticism, you can easily find other films that will serve your purposes better. The film is not insulting or disturbing or in any other way deserving a truly negative comment. But because of its total and utter pointlessness, I must give it my lowest possible recommendation.

This one just reaks. The dialog is flat and the people don't look like they had fun making it. Rent it, don't buy it. Yech.
