3-0 out of 5 stars Third times the charm for "Kickboxer" fans!
Switching up the story a little bit, this third entry in the "Kickboxer" series has Sloan and trainer Xian headed to Rio for an exhibition bout. While there, they discover that their opponent's manager is actually a rich "playboy" who has gained his massive fortune by selling kidnapped women to his customers for sexual purposes. When the sister of a young boy that they have befriended is kidnapped, Sloan aims to get her back by any means neccessary.

Not only are there a few nice martial arts sequences here but you get a couple of shoot-outs as bullets fly through mansions with Sloan and Xian declaring war on anyone in their way. The returning Mitchell and Denis Chan are what keeps this sequel afloat. Some may be turned off by the slight change in the plot but in my opinion, it keeps things interesting. "Kickboxer 3" is pretty much the best you're gonna get from a straight-to-video sequel to a genre flick.

3-0 out of 5 stars Almost better than the first...
Sasha Mitchell is back and this time we get a better plot, better humor, and better fight scenes. David Sloan (Mitchell) and trainer Xian (Dennis Chan) are in Rio for an exhibition charity match, and then a championship match. They brefriend two homeless kids and become entangled in a web of crime. Entertaining if you like martial-arts flicks, which I do. I had some fun watching this one and was left smiling, though unchanged by the movie. I first saw this flick during a "Kickboxer" marathon. I had no clue what was in store for me in "Kickboxer 4."

2-0 out of 5 stars An alright moie!
I dont think kickboxer 3 is as good as kickboxer 1 & 2, but it is alright. I think there needs to be more fights, and less gun shooting. I mean Sasha Mitchell is a kickboxer not a gun fighter. That is what makes this movie look fake.

5-0 out of 5 stars This movie is one of my favorites!
I LOVED this movie! I saw all the kickboxer movies with Sasha Mitchell, and this was my favorite. Kickboxer 2 was too dark and depressing and Kickboxer 4 was too much like so many other martial arts movies, Kickboxer 3 was beautifully set, with a cool plot. This movie not only provided entertainment but it also got me back into the martial arts after several years away.

1-0 out of 5 stars Does not even compare to the first two Kickboxer Movies
I did not like this movie at all. The fight scenes were minimal, and I have a hard time picturing Uncle Xien with a machine gun in hand. I have not seen the fourth Kickboxer yet, but if it is anything like this one, it will not be very good. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for the same action as they saw in the first two installments of Kickboxer. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Flick!
This was the first movie I've seen with Don Wilson and it is my favorite. The fight scenes are pretty good, surprisingly. The reason Mr. Wilson is one of my favorite M.A. actors is that he shows that he can be hit and hurt, unlike some martial artists who don't get a scratch on them. He makes it very easy to be identified as an everyman, not as some unrealistic ultra man. Watch and enjoy!

2-0 out of 5 stars Moderately interesting
Hmmm, what to say about Gary Daniels epic film American Streetfighter? Well for one thing it was filmed on the cheap, Low budget? Nope. Shoestring budget? Nope. Filmed in some guys basement? Yup. Seriously most of the "sets" look like some guys basement with a few boxes piled about and some xmas lights strung up, and for a little variety they film some stuff in a parking lot or some guys house in the middle of the desert.

Anyway, the film pretty much goes as follows, Gary as a young man is a bit of a punk, and after a firebombing gone bad he heads for the hills, or in this case Hong Kong. 10 years later he finds his brother is in some kind of trouble and heads back to the states. Seems his brother has involved himself in pitfighting for little extra cash (think bumfights but lower rent) Gary doesn't want him to do this so he takes his place, and quickly gets beaten like a rented mule by the "champion" Viper. Awakening in a hospital of sorts he sees things are not up to snuff as it seems that the bodies of dead fighters are being used to transport drugs overseas. That pretty much sums it up, tho' there are things about a long lost son, and love, old vendetas and a pretty cute chick named Reiko who meets a sad end :)

So if you have 7$ burning a hole in your pocket you might pick this up if only for some moderately good martial arts and alot of unintentional laughs.

STRANGE MOVIE!

I only ordered this DVD after it came up during my search of actor Tony Keyes. Tony Keyes is not in the movie at all!

5-0 out of 5 stars Gave me a shot in the funny bones
Me and my friends saw this movie at the NY film festival two years ago and we laughed so hard through the movie. It was so funny and hilarious. So I'm glad the DVD is finally out. The cover of this DVD makes this movie looks like a horror movie, but I think it's more of a comedy movie and it plays for laughs. I think the underworld scenes are so bizarre, they are cool. Didn't care that much for Joey Lawrence but love the other main casts. My favorite is Robert Patrick Benedict, who plays a nerd in the movie. You shouldn't expect this to be a horror movie because it's not that scary. It has some supernatural elements in the movie, which I liked a lot, but it's mainly a quirky comedy with some ghosty elements, like Beetlejuice and Rocky horror picture show, but more partying. If that is what you are looking for, this is the movie to watch.

1-0 out of 5 stars Joking?
This movie is so stupid! If you love seriously bad movies, and not the so-bad-it's-good, but so-bad-it-hurts kind then fine. It's supposed to be horror, but the only horror is that I, or anyone, spent money on it. Shame on you Joey Lawrence. One star is being decent, which I can't fathom doing for this piece of awfulness. Don't belive me? You asked for it then.

4-0 out of 5 stars Tequila Body Shots Rocked!
This movie is finally on DVD! I can't wait! It's a funny and cool movie. I really loved Nathan Anderson(Paul). He was so funny and cool I laughed my butt off! Also Joey Lawrence(Johnny)is very cool. Just watch the movie. It's a weird plot but I liked it a lot. It's all about 3 guys and 3 girls invited to a party in Mexico and Johnny can read womens minds and he is just trying to save this girl played by Dru Mouser(Tamlyn). It's a not stop party atmospher and it hits the funnybone and just plain old funny. Watch it give it a try. You will be entertained! Believe me! Silly plot but cool! ... Read more

I was very disappointed with Expert Weapon.Sam Jones was great in Flash Gordon but in this movie well i think he should have left it alone. The acting and fighting scenes were so stupidly made,it was like as if a actor was standing there waiting to be hit. This is the type of film that reminded me of the early '80's low and cheap. Please do not waste your money on a low budget film like this.Rent it or look for a diffrent type of action film.
