1-0 out of 5 stars The worst movie I have ever seen
It doesn't deserve a review, it is that bad. Don't buy it, don't rent it, don't watch it, don't even pick it up out of the remainder bin at your local Wal-Mart. It will contaminate your life.

1-0 out of 5 stars The worst B-movie EVER made
One star for the "no glove, no love" scene. All the rest is
worth minus 17. Truly appaling. I would not recommend this to
my worst enemy. OK maybe to her. It is beyond being one of
those "so bad it is good" type of movies. It is just plain bad.

2-0 out of 5 stars Cool Sporty
I got this DVD at the bargain price of US$10 and I'm not about to complain about it.

The story is OK, the cast does their best, Amy gets to kick the daylights out of the bad guy!

Hey it's OK. There's also some motorcycles in it at least and I love motorbikes. Amy rides a cool Sporty she got from a guy she picked up after a job (I think she keeps the bike when she kicks him out). The Bad Guy rides a badder bike off-course. Amy is pretty and takes her clothes of once so that's another plus.

4-0 out of 5 stars Sexy and Exciting
Good movie for people who's looking for action and pleasure. Not a thriller but a must have anyway. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars what happened to law and order was a crime
This action picture directed by Armand Mastroianni has a reactionary message, which caters to the right to bear arms lobby. During the escape from a bank holdup Joe Dallesandro loses his accomplice robber brother, and Leigh McCloskey, as a bystander, his pregant wife. However in these days of slippery lawyers and even slippier laws, Dallesandro gets off, since the stockinged mask the bandits wore does not allow for a postive witness identification. Since Dallesandro holds McCloskey to blame for the death of his brother, via enabling him to become a police target, and McCloskey blames Dallesandro for the death of his wife, the stage is set for the titular battle. Mastroianni has little of quality to work with here, with a screenplay that is the standard of "They grow up so fast. One day I left home and she was in diapers, and when I came home she was in her wedding dress", and concerning newspaper gossip "If somebody writes it, somebody reads it". However he does manage to slip in a few nice touches, like the repeated use of the America song - campingly played on a jukebox in a climactic shootout, Dallesandro stubbing out his cigarette in food to show how tough he is, a montage of quick cuts of "No" testimony from the witnesses in the trial, and the opposing parties allow for parallels and cross-cutting. He also alludes to the western in his staging of some scenes - a bar has swinging doors and screens a John Wayne title on TV - and there is an aerial view of the two men approaching each other before the face-off. Although the only actor who gives a reasonable performance is Richard Rust as the put upon County Sheriff, Dallesandro provides the hunk appeal. Still a handsome man all these years after his legendary nude appearances for Andy Warhol and Paul Morrissey, he's certainly the sexier of the two men in their matching tight jeans. Dallesandro's gay epithet to McCloskey at the trial gets the required response, even if McCloskey appears to lack the imagination for it, and Mastroianni's tongue is in full cheek when he has Dallesandro buy a child an ice cream cone. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Interesting movie worth a watch. Buy it? Maybe Maybe not
I first saw this movie on a saturday sci fi show. It was the edited version. The plot and acting arent really bad for a low budget film as this. What I din't really get was the role of the big robot in the film. It really didn't have much relevence to the plot and didn't generate enough action to warrant its presence. The movie could have done fine without it.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Weapons Of The Future Are Alive...!!!!!!!!
Resistance fighters confront the "Orwellian" presence of the world-dominating UNICOM Corporation in this futuristic story of sci-fi action and thrills.
Rebels Tyson (Paul Ganus) and Arren (Megan Ward) suspect their remote TV station has been infiltrated by a Synthoid, a UNICOM robot that looks and acts human, yet is programmed to kill. They discover the deadly Synthoid-and discover, too, that terminating the relentless humanoid is virtually impossible. Arren, however, has an ace in the hole; a dormant 80-foot robot she's reprogrammed and brought back to life for a desperate showdown of machine vs. machine. But even after one Synthoid is destroyed, there may be others.... ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars HURT'S SO BAD
What is it with these enormously talented actors like JOHN HURT, who was so good in "The Elephant Man" and "Alien"? Why would he overact so shamelessly in this 1993 almost B-movie sci-fi thriller? His big finale scene is so over the top it makes Vincent Price look like a deflated balloon. Whereas Price knew just how far to go, Hurt takes his demonic villainous role and shoots it to the stars.
Otherwise, this pre-X-Files fantasy suffers from a ponderous script, slack direction, and not enough time with the alien. Bill Patton, who is always willing to be the true maverick anything, spars deftly with Lindsay Frost, and their comic timing helps the duller moments. I particularly liked Paul Ganus in his role as the bespectacled villain. Behind his corporate glasses, lurks a giant of a man, obviously beefcake material. However, when his moment comes, he is beat to a pulp by Paxton and then whines when he realizes an elevator is going to chop off his head. What made Ganus so interesting was the cool aplomb he displayed, and his bulky threat behind the Armani suits. Lou Gossett, Jr. tried hard, but his role became so stereotypical, it muted his performance. The scene on the skyscraper could have been more chilling, but back in the early nineties, CGI hadn't been introduced so it's obvious they're on a scrim with a blue screen behind them.
But heck, this is so much better than a lot of these films, it's worth a rental.

1-0 out of 5 stars Cheesy Sci-Fi
This is a horrible movie. The plot is something about a killer alien that can't be stopped or something. We've seen this before. The stars of this movie no one has heard of and the dialogue was laughable. Watch the scene of the alien being chased in a hotel and laugh your head off. Don't see this movie unless u have 2.

4-0 out of 5 stars The X-Files
Starring Bill Paxton as Tucker and Lindsay Frost as flint. It's about a couple of cops chasing an alien and the goverment wants to keep this alien buisness a secret. Looks like an episode straight out of the X-Files, but i belive it was made before the first episode of the X-Files was aired. Surprisingly one goverment men appears in the X-Files also. The guys who want to keep this alien buisness a secret have more clearence level than the president, but they have just a single woman security gaurd gaurding the enterance of their headquaters (?) at night (?+?), When the two cops tell her that she looks exactly like sigourney weaver (?+?+?) she lets them inside (?+?+?+?). Oh! what the heck why look for reality in a film about aliens. ... Read more
